L-006 `J09056-A04 Fire Control Plan 18-Jul-14 We note that 2 additional 2.5 gallon foam extinguishers have been added. While we would have no
objections to the use of smaller fire extinguishers this is a Transport Canada requirement and
requires an MTRB to resolve. Further we note that the 5 gallons added is less than half the 45L
required.
P-002 `J09056-A04 Fire Control Plan 18-Jul-14 We note that several symbols have been revised. The fuel oil pump remote shut-off and the remote
control for fuel oil valves shall be gray not black. The right side of the fire hydrant valve shall be
green. The color for the NOVEC symbols shall be brown. Please advise the location of the
emergency source of power (2.35 IMO Resolution A.852(23)).

Specification
18-Jul-12 The type and size of discharge nozzle used is dependant on the the length of piping required for the
system. As such the exact nozzle that will be installed cannot be determined, until the piping for the
system is installed. We will supply the full model number of the discharge nozzel to ABS when it
becomes known. The model number for the 100ft roll of 1/16" cable did indeed contain a typo in
the manual. The model number to be used is 06-118316-100.
