Introduction

This training manual is designed to help new employees and regular employees
to help with understanding and familiarizing everyone to Dillards operating
system Cici. In this manual you will learn how to create a password, learn how
to navigate through tabs and understand the abbreviations and layout of the
information. By the end of this manual you will be fully informed on the system
Cici.

Chapter 1
Creating password
Here users will be creating a password. Its best that you create a password
that is easy to remember and that is no longer than 7 characters long at the
home screen.
Steps
1. Enter in user name it will prompt to create a password screen.
2. Once there enter in your 7 character password.
3. Once entered it will ask to repeat your password.
4. Repeat your password after that the screen will show password created.

After you have created your password you will have full access to CiCi.

Navigation through the system
Here you will learn how to find your way through the system. Each tab has
unique features that can help you find and item by its style, color, and
department.
Navigate
After logging in at the main screen you will see ten tabs across the top of the
screen. To find the item by the style.
1. On the keyboard push the tab button until you until cursor is highlighting
the SCN tab.
2. Press enter it will then prompt you to a screen with four boxes that are
that are in a vertical line.
3. In the first box enter in the style code.
4. In the second box enter in the store code number.

After entering the style code and store number a screen will prompt showing
the item and what stores may have it.
To go back to look up another style number.
1. Hold control F1.
2. Hit the backspace key.
It will bring you back to the screen with the four boxes.

To look up and item by color.
1. Go the main screen.
2. On the keyboard push the tab button until the cursor is highlighting the
CCN tab.
3. Press enter it will prompt you to a screen that has the same four boxes
like SCN tab.
4. On the keyboard hold Tab and push the down arrow until the third box is
highlighted.
5. Enter in the color code.

A screen will prompt showing only how many we have of that item in that color.


To search an item by its department.

1. Go to the main screen.
2. On the keyboard push the tab button until the DNC tab is highlighted.
3. Press the enter key.
A box will appear asking for the DNC code. Once entered it will show you how
many items we have of that in the department.

Understanding the Info
In this section we will mostly discuss how to understand the information. A lot
of the tabs in CiCi are abbreviated and may be difficult to understand.
Abbreviation and quantities

Here are the key abbreviated tabs that you must know.
CCN Color code number.
DCN Department code number.
SCN Style code number.
ORF Order request form.
SL Store locater.
VN VIN Number.
IOH Items on hold.
INV- Inventory.
ICS incoming shipments.
CI/CO Clock in and clock out.

When you search for an item ether by the CCN, DCN, SCN the list is sometimes
hard to understand. When you search with the CCN the list will show the items.
When you see that the item you are looking for is in green it means that we
have the item in large quantities. If it is in yellow we have very little of the item.
If in red we do not have the item at all and at that point we must order the item
or look for the item under the SL tab.

Trouble shooting
When you run in to trouble when using CiCi. The best method of fixing the problem is to
double tap the ESC button on the keyboard. It will close the application and bring you back
to the Log in screen and you just start it back over.
