on Friday by officers of the Valley County Sheriff s
Office and the Montana Highway Patrol and charged
with Felony Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The 31-year old Hernandez is currently incarcerated
in the Valley County Detention Center with a $200,000
bond.
Valley County Sheriff Glen Meier told KLTZ/
Mix-93 News that Hernandez is a major player in the

Baseball memories: Oscar Emil Hap Felsch:

Bats:
Right.
Throws:
Right. Born: July 22, 1891
Milwaukee,
Wisconsin.
Died: August 17, 1964
Milwaukee,
Wisconsin.
His good nature and smile
earned him the nickname
Happy and his natural
ability made him a star
centerfielder and one of the
best hitters in the American
League. He still holds the
record for most double
plays (15) by an outfielder
in a season. Felsch was
paid $5,000 to throw the
[1919 World] series and
his almost comically inept
fielding gave the first clues
that the games were not on
the level. After being thrown
out of organized baseball
he spent 15 years knocking
around with various town
teams around the country,
including 1925 when he
and Swede Risberg starred
for the Scobey, Montana
Giants getting $600 a month
plus expenses. This was
apparently a low period
in Felshs life and he and
Risberg gained onerous
reputations as drunks who
should not be crossed.
Felsch retired from baseball
in the early 1930s and
operated a bar in Milwaukee
until his death in 1964.

was on the back of a baseball
card given to Daniels County

Some more about Hap:
Upon helping throw the
World Series, he later said,
as quoted by the Chicago
American:
Well, the beans are
spilled and I think Im
through with baseball. I got
$5,000. I could have got just
about that much by being
on the level if the Sox had
won the Series. And now Im
out of baseball the only
profession I know anything
about, and a lot of gamblers
have gotten rich. The joke
seems to be on us.

In the 1988 film Eight
Men Out, Felsch was
portrayed by Charlie Sheen.
Hap is buried at
Wisconsin Memorial Park in
Brookfield, Wisconsin.
