MEMBUAT CV BERBAHASA INGGRIS

CV atau Curriculum Vitae atau biasa disebut daftar riwayat hidup adalah dokumen
atau surat yang memberikan gambaran mengenai pengalaman seseorang dan kualifikasi
lainnya. Di beberapa negara, suatu CV biasanya merupakan hal utama yang dijumpai seorang
majikan untuk menyaring para pelamar kerja, dan biasanya dilanjutkan dengan wawancara.
Curriculum Vitae itu sendiri pada dasarnya dapat dibuat dengan berbagai format
dengan tidak menghilangkan unsur terpentingnya. Semakin menarik dan bagus CV dibuat,
semakin pula menandakan kreativitas Anda yang bernilai tinggi dan yang pasti menjadi
modal tambah dalam diterimanya Anda dalam melamar sebuah pekerjaan. CV lamaran kerja
yang menarik bukan hanya dilihat dari cover atau desain, tetapi juga gaya penulisan dan
kerapihan.
Saat anda sedang duduk dan menulis Curriculum Vitae, posisikan diri anda menjadi
orang yang akan membaca CV tersebut. Usahakan untuk tidak memakai format CV yang
diulang-ulang / sama ketika anda melamar sebuah pekerjaan. Ubah sedikit format tersebut
namun tetap sesuai dengan aturan. Dibawah ini adalah Cara Membuat Curriculum Vitae (CV)
yang Baik:
1. Langkah pertama adalah membaca profil lowongan kerja secara perlahan dan hati-hati.
Usahakan untuk memahami posisi apa yang akan Anda lamar.
2. Menentukan pengetahuan, pengalaman, serta keterampilan seperti apa yang cocok dengan
lowongan kerja yang akan anda lamar.
3. Membuat sebuah daftar yang mencantumkan pengalaman juga kualifikasi dimana daftar
tersebut akan menggambarkan jika Anda merupakan orang yang cocok untuk bekerja di
posisi yang anda lamar.
4. Mengingat prestasi yang berhasil anda raih di masa lalu, dimana prestasi tersebut memiliki
hubungan dengan lowongan kerja yang akan anda lamar. Disana anda bisa menunjukkan jika
anda adalah orang yang cocok bila harus menerima tanggung jawab tersebut.
5. Cantumkan dalam Curriculum Vitae sebuah tabel yang isinya adalah tentang pengalaman
kerja anda kemudian urutkan kronologisnya. Urutkan dari mulai yang terbaru. Cantumkan
juga pengalaman kerja ketika anda masih menjadi mahasiswa ataupun sedang magang.
6. Tambahkan kualifikasi pendidikan khususnya yang berkaitan dengan lowongan kerja yang
akan anda lamar.

7. Cantumkan juga pengalaman anda saat mengikuti organisasi ketika aktif di kuliah ataupun
sekolah. Dengan anda aktif di organisasi maka hal itu menjadi sebuah nilai tambah untuk
anda.
8. Memastikan jiga format curriculum vitae atau resume tersebut konsisten dilihat dari segi
format fungsional ataupun kronologis.
9. Tuliskan tujuan karir yang ingin anda capai serta seperti apa cara anda untuk memberikan
kontribusi kepada perusahaan yang Anda tengah anda lamar.

mulai bekerja hingga kapan berakhirnya. Jangan lupa pula tulis tugas apa saja yang bisa
ditangani.
