cities, sponsors, organizers, and supporters, be they individuals or organizations,
singly or collectively, of all blame for any injury, misadventure, harm, loss or inconveniences suered as a result of taking part in Floatzilla or any activities associated
with the event. I agree to obey all safety rules posted for the event. All participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and all participants
must wear a Coast Guard approved personal flotation device. I agree to obey all
safety rules and regulations posted for the event. Among these, I am aware that
the City of Rock Island does not permit alcoholic beverages in city parks and I
understand that it is unlawful to operate a watercraft while under the inuence of
alcohol. Floatzilla necessitates safe and responsible conduct. Intoxicated persons
are not permitted and may be subject to arrest.

4:30pm Post-Zilla Party!

Spend your morning experiencing Quad Cities Water Trails on the Mississippi River as you paddle
from one of five launch sites to Lake Potter and Sunset Park in Rock Island, IL. Launch early or put-in
at Lake Potter to enjoy food, music, and a paddlesports tradeshow. At 2:00 p.m. everyone will gather
for the traditional group photo and the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest raft
of canoes and kayaks. (Current Record: 2,099) Paddlers can launch from Ben Butterworth Parkway in
Moline, IL or from Main Street, Marquette Street, or Credit Island in Davenport, IA. All are welcome
to put-in directly at Lake Potter. All paddlers must wear a US Coast Guard approved personal floatation
device.

Join us at the Rock Island Boat Club

for an after-float party. (Across 18th
Ave. from Lake Potter) There will be
fun, food, and drinks. Make sure to
return to your car and pick up your
boats beforehand. Shuttles end at
4pm and the off-site (Mill St./RiverStone) lot at Lake Potter closes at
4:30. Any remaining cars WILL be
towed.

Alcohol is prohibited at Lake

Potter/Sunset Park and is
strongly discouraged
on the river.
