2014-2015 Fundraising Agreement

Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico strives to provide affordable, quality, educational programs for the
families that we serve. Since we make every effort to maintain our tuition cost low we find ourselves having to
conduct fund raising activities to meet rising expenses. Each family is therefore asked to assist AIBF with
Fundraising activities.

Media Release


I hereby grant permission to Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico . To

Photograph and/or interview my child, __________________________________. I agree to

participate in media relations and promotional projects without financial remuneration, and I

understand that this releases Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico/NCI Organization/Others

photographer/interviewer from any future claims, as well as from any liability arising from the use
of said photograph or interview.

Liability Release


I hereby release the Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico from liability and from any and all

claims against the Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico authorities or representatives

individually and collectively for any injuries which might be received by any member of my

familys during participation at any facility used by the Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico

Rules and Regulations
ENROLLMENT CRITERIA:

1. Age requirements: 4 years of age (as of September 1
st
of the present school year) an up (birth certificate
required for new students at time of registration).
2. Students CANNOT currently belong to any other Folkloric Dance Group.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:
Be willing to learn and perform at public appearances when asked
Be attentive and able to follow instructions
Be punctual for all practice sessions: arriving at least five (5) minutes prior to class
Be in appropriate uniform see Student Appearance
Students are to go to the restroom before class starts
Restrictions: Chewing gum or drinking in class, with the exception of bottled water
No shoes, no uniform, no class
Dance shoes are to be worn only in the dance studio
Bring Bottle water
STUDENT APPEARANCE:
a. Boys: groomed hair and proper practice attire: Folklorico T-shirt, black shorts, pants or
sweatpants and dance boots. No jewelry is to be worn during practice.
b. Girls: Hair pulled back into a bun and proper practice attire: Folklorico T-shirt, black shorts, pants,
sweatpants or tights, practice skirt and dance shoes. No jewelry is to be worn during practice.

STUDENT ATTENDANCE:
a. Students absent from the group for one month or more without notification to the office will be removed
from the class rosters
b. Excusable absences to be determined by the Instructor

PRACTICE SESSIONS:
a. Class schedules and location will be assigned at beginning of term.
b. Practice sessions will be assigned to the following location: Ripley House, 4410 Navigation
c. Substitute Instructors will be assigned or classes rescheduled as needed.

PERFORMANCES:
Everyone must be ready to dance at public performances when asked. ( A HAA requirement )
Private performances are to be for dancers only, no exceptions (as noted on calendar)
a. As representatives of A.I.B.F., appropriate appearance & behavior is expected
b. Wardrobe bags must be used and each dancer is responsible for their own accessories, hair dress,
bloomers, shoes, leotards, tights, etc.
c. Dancers must arrive to location 1(one) hour prior to each performance. (Maps and instructions will
be provided)
d. Dancers, unless otherwise directed, MUST CHANGE FROM WARDROBE IMMEDIATELY
FOLLOWING EACH PERFORMANCE
e. Each dancer is responsible for bringing a change of clothes to each performance
f. No eating or drinking while in costume, except water.
g. Playing or caring of infants or children is not allowed while on costume.

PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND SELF APPLICANTS:
Tuition:
a. Registration - $30.00 Classes $55.00 per month for first (1
st
) child and $30.00 for each additional
sibling.
b. Adult fees: $55.00 per month.
c. Tuition is due a week before the classes are imparted. ($10.00 late fee per week will be added to
monthly tuition)
d. $25.00 fee will be applied for all returned or insufficient fund checks received.
e. Registration fee is non refundable.
f. Please provide your child with all materials as soon as possible upon request of the instructor.
g. Please bring your child on time for practice sessions and be available to pick him/her up at the end of
class. Students must be picked up immediately after class. A.I.B.F. will not be held responsible for
children not picked up immediately after class.
h. Help children attend all events in a punctual manner with complete uniform.
i. Communicate with instructors for current information.
j. Please notify your instructor(s) of your level if your child will be absent for a period of time or leaving the
group.
k. Parents/Guardians may make appointments with instructor(s) to discuss childs progress.
l. Only Room Parents or designated monitors allowed in practice room.
m. Inform room Parent/Wardrobe Coordinator of any concerns pertaining to costumes.
n. We ask that all parents be role models to our students, therefore be respectful and corteous to others at
all times.
o. Please inform your instructor, Room Parent or office staff of any problems in writing; if the problem is
not resolved within a resonable time, address the problem to the Executive Director.

SPECIAL PERFORMANCES:

For Quinceaera celebrations: registered students who are in good standing with the A.I.B.F. organization may
request performances of the group for their celebrations.
Students who have been registered members in good standing with A.I.B.F. for five (5) or more
consecutive years would have no performance fee. $125.00 (20 min)

Students who have been registered members in good standing with A.I.B.F. for three (3) or more
consecutive years would have a performance fee of $200.00 (20 min)

Students with less than two (2) years as a registered student within the A.I.B.F. organization must pay
full price for any performance. (20 min)

**All other performances requested for family celebration must be paid at the regular
performance rate including family members.

WARDROBE:

- The wardrobe will be delivered in the week prior to the presentation in the wardrobe.
- Post the performance, the wardrobe will be delivered on the first day of practice in the wardrobe to the person
a charge of the wardrobe and accessories belonging to the organization.
- The days assigned for delivery of costumes are on Mondays and from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
- We charge a penalty of $ 10.00 per day for costumes not received the week following the presentation.

The provisions of these rules and Regulations are not an irrevocable contract between the parents or in such cases the student and the
Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico. The Ambassadors International Ballet Folklorico reserves the right to change any provision or
requirement of these regulations at any time, including but not limited to enrollment criteria, student requirements, practice sessions,
performances, fees and calendar listings as necessitated by AIBF or Board Member committee action.
