1. Did not read carefully mismatch between words/concepts in answer choice
and passage
2. Conditional only positive and contrapositive is supported
3. Point of agreement doesnt need to be explicit explicit
4. Greater = greater (excludes equal to)
5. Pay attention to modifiers in answer choices
6. Dont read too fast and select wrong answer choice before even reading
correct answer choice
7. Be mindful of quantifiers! Some v. most v. all
8. Parallel reasoning really be mindful of quantifiers
9. Note language shifts
10. If an answer choice mentions reject, make sure the speaker actually rejects
the others conclusion
11. If two answer choices seem correct, go back and reread the
passage/conclusion
12. If you crossed out all answer choices except 1 but that one doesnt seem
good, go back. Maybe youre missing out on something mentioned briefly. Go
back and identify the conclusion again
13. Make sure you get the question type right. Go through and label question
types
14. Principles questions you want the answer choice to force the conclusion; at
least be compatible
15. Necessary/sufficient assumption questions note language shifts
16. Language shift want to link concept in premise to new concept in
conclusion
17. Main conclusion be careful of answer choices. Easy but make sure to select
the right answer, not the trick one

true but doesnt answer question, contradicts passage, wrong direction, part
