CLIENT BACKGROUND Shoulah Group is one of the important players in classic furniture export market in Egypt. They are specialized in both classical and contemporary furniture marketing them under two main brand names, Shoulah Classics for classical furniture and Ultimate Design for contemporary furniture. Abdu Shoulahs story is an epic of Egyptian entrepreneurship, starting the business with his brother at the age of fourteen with a capital of about three hundred and fty pounds which they saved during their school days. Their small make-shift garage structure expanded in the following 20 years to occupy some twenty ve different workshops and stores around the alleys and streets of the old section of Damietta, and two modern factory structures in New Damietta. This drive helped make Shoulah one of the largest exporters of classic furniture in Egypt in less than seven years, employing over three hundred and fty workers.
