DMKM Data Mining and knowledge
management
Contact : jean-gabriel.ganascia@lip6.fr
www.em-dmkm.eu/
The contemporary society is often described
as a knowledge society, where wealth is
more dependent on knowledge than natural
resources. Extraction techniques and
knowledge organization play a major role
in all sectors. Organizations depend on it;
the sciences also, to the point that we now
speak of e-science. The Erasmus Mundus
master, DMKM (Data Mining and Knowledge
Management) prepares specialists in these
matters. The consortium is composed of
6 partner universities from 4 European
countries. The program lasts for 2 years
and in at least two different countries from
the 4 European participants of the master.
It is open to all students, regardless of their
country of origin, with a BSc in computer
science or mathematics, and who have
a good level of English (TOEFL 550 or
equivalent).
