Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to produce their own fruit
bookmark and write the description of their fruit correctly.

Activities: 1. Teacher shows picture cards.
2. Teacher discusses about fruits with the pupils. Teacher asks
pupils to describe the fruits.
3. Teacher plays a song, Oh My Darling Clementine and pupils
listen to the tune.
4. Teacher shows the lyric of the song, What am I? (singing to the
tune of Oh My Darling Clementine)
5. Teacher uses different colours of word cards for different types of
adjectives. (e.g. yellow word cards for colour)
6. Teacher explains on the lyric of the song.
7. Teacher asks pupils to sing the song.
8. Teacher asks pupils to guess the name of the fruit.
9. Teacher replaces the adjectives (colour, shape, taste, skin)
10. Teacher asks pupils to sing the song and guess the name of the
fruits.
11. Teacher shows a sample of a fruit bookmark.
12. Pupils colour their fruit and do their own bookmark.
