NOTICE INVITING TENDER

01. The Executive Engineer, Postal Civil Division, Khadki, Pune-411 003 invites on behalf of the President of India, sealed
item rate tenders for the following workfrom eligible contractors from the approved list of Department of Posts /BSNL,
CPWD, MES, Railways, Maharashtra State PWD(B&R), eligible for tendering in respective State PWD(B&R) for building
works.

02. The enlistment of contractors should be valid on the date of sale of tenders.
In case only the last date of sale of tender is extended, the enlistment of contractor should be valid on the original date of
sale of tenders.
In case both the last date of receipt of application and sale of tenders are extended, the enlistment of contractor should be
valid on either of the two dates i.e, original date of sale of tender or on the extended date of sale of tenders.

03.Tenders will be issued to eligible contractors provided they produce definite proof from the appropriate authority, which shall
be to the satisfaction of the competent authority, of having satisfactorily completed similar works of magnitude specified below.

Creteria of eligibility for issue of tender documents for non DOP Contractors.

(a) At least 3 works costing not less than 40% of Estimated cost.
(b) Two works costing not less than 50% of Estimated cost
(c) One work costing not less than 80% of Estimated cost
In the last seven years ending last day of the previous months

For the purpose of the clause Similar Work means the works of Civil & Maintenance.
(Note:- It is also clarified that the work for which levy of compensation has been imposed shall not be considered as
satisfactorily completed work Proof of without levy of compensation in the work shall be attached with the experience certificate
in the cases of difference of stipulated date of completion and actual date of completion which is submitted for getting/opening
the tender)


4.IN CASE OF TENDER DOCUMENT TO BE OBTAINED FROM O/o EE(CIVIL)
a) Last date of receipt of application(in prescribed format) for participation in tender 01-09-2014(upto 16.00Hrs) along with
tender cost of Rs.577/-(non-refundable) per set at the time of submission of application form.
b)The applicant will submit his credentials required to establish his eligibility & work experience condition to the Executive
Engineer(C) before last date of receipt of application as per para (a) above.
c) The tender document shall be issued on 03-09-2014 up to 16-00 Hrs.

5. IN CASE OF TENDER DOCUMENT TO BE OBTAINED FROM WEB SITE ;-
(a) Such tenders should submit for Rs.577/- (non-refundable) as the cost of tender along with the separate DD for EMD, in the same manner as
specified in 8(iii) below.
6. Tenders will be received by the Executive Engineer up to 15.00 hrs on 05-09-2014 and will be opened by him or his authorized
representative on the same day at 15.30 hrs.
7. The intending tenders shall submit attested copy of registration certificate and list of works of requisite magnitude completed along with copy of
certificates/testimonials of their satisfactory completion from the department concerned obtained from an officer not below the rank of Executive
Engineer-in-charge of the work, while applying for participation in tender in the prescribed format.
8(i) Tenders shall be accompanied with Earnest money in cah ( up to 10000/-) /Receipt Treasury Challan/Deposit at call receipt of a scheduled
bank, issued in favour of Accounts officer, Postal Civil Division, Khadki, Pune., 50% of earnest money or Rs.20 lacs, whichever is less will
have to be deposited in the shape prescribed above and balance amount of earnest money can be accepted in the form of Bank guarantee
issued by a scheduled bank having validity for 6 months or more from last date of receipt of tenders.
(ii)For tenderer purchasing tender from Executive Engineers office.
The tender and the earnest money shall be placed in separate sealed envelopes, each marked Tender and Earnest Money respectively in
cases where earnest money in cash is acceptable, the same shall be deposited with the cashier of the Division and the receipt placed in the
envelope meant for earnest money. Both the envelopes shall be submitted together in another sealed envelope with the name of work and
due date of opening written on envelope, which will be received by the EE(C)up to 3.00P.M. on 05-09-2014 and will be opened by him

authorized representative in his office on same day at 3.30P.M.. The envelope marked Tender of only those tenderers shall be opened,
whose earnest money , placed in the other envelope is found to be in order.
(iii) for tenderer downloading tender from web site.
The downloaded tender document shall be properly bound and wax sealed. Loose/spiral bound submission shall be rejected out rightly.
Every page of downloaded tender shall be signed by the tenderer. The cost of tender document(Non refundable) amounting to Rs.577/- shall
be submitted in the form of Demand Draft/Pay order.
The tender and the earnest money, cost of tender document, eligibily document shall be placed in separate sealed envelopes, each marked
Tender and Earnest Money Cost of tender document. Eligibility document respectively. In cases where earnest money in cash is
acceptable, the same shall be deposited with the cashier of the Division and the receipt placed in the envelope meant for earnest money.
Both the envelope shall be submitted together in another sealed envelope with the name of work and due date of opening written on
envelope, which will be received by the EE(C) upto 3.00 P.M. on 05-09-2014and will be opened by him or his authorized representative in
his office on the same day at 03.30 P.M. The envelope marked Tender of only those tenders shall be opened, whose earnest money cost of
tender document, eligibility document place in the other envelope is found to be in order.
9. The tender for the works shall be remain open for acceptance for a period of ninety days from the date of opening of tenders. If any
tenderer withdraws his tender before the said period or issue of letter of acceptance, which ever is earlier or makes any modification in the
terms and conditions of the tender which are not acceptable to the department , then the Government shall, without prejudice to any other
right or remedy, be at liberty to forfeit 50% of the said earnest money is aforesaid.
10. Tenders shall neither be issued by post not the same be received by the post.
11. In case holiday is declared on any of the above noted dates that activity shall be automatically shifted to next working day.
12. The rates quoted by the agency shall be including of all types of taxes /levies/ duty including service tax, nothing extra shall be payable
on such accounts.
13. The notice is also available on website- www.eprocure.gov.in.
