"Mom was always the best at making sure we sat down as a family
and enjoyed a wholesome, home-cooked meal. I have the best
memories eating dinners she made and laughing and spending time
with the family. That's probably why Thanksgiving is my favorite
holiday - the best family surrounded by the best food, cooked by the
best mom!" Samantha Marie Campbell, August 2014
I live 20 minutes away from my folksbut I still come over at least
three nights a week for a mealNot because I cant afford to eat
regularly on my ownBut because my mother cooks such great
food. Its something that she has passed on to me actually. So
many hours spent in the kitchen as turned me into a novice cook
myselfA trait I will carry with me my entire life. She makes great
fooda precursor to a great family evening. Tyler Thomas

Biography

Julieann Marie Thomas Campbell was born in Custer South

Dakota and grew up in Rapid City. In 1968 her father gave in
and let her date an Air Force guy who was stationed at
Ellsworth Air Force Base and a year later they were married.
She and Tom recently celebrated their 45th wedding
anniversary. Julie is a mother, wife and Radiologic Technician.
She also holds four college degrees, including bachelors
degrees in Digital Media, Sociology, Economics and a masters
degree in Health Care Administration. She also holds
exclusive rights to each person whose name is on those
degrees. Best guess isshe is not done yet.
As if all that were not enough, Julie is also an excellent cook
and has amassed this book of favorite recipes she has
accumulated over the years. Sure there are lots of great recipes
out there but thesethese are all worth trying and they may
well end up on your list of favorites. Bon Appetite!!!
