EXAMS*: There will be a midterm exam and a final exam.
* In the event the midterm exam is missed it will be replaced by the final exam score.
PROGRAMMING ASSIGNMENTS:
There will be programming assignments. They will be turned in to the TA for grading in
electronic format and perhaps also a hard copy. These programming assignments will
count 20% of your grade. I will give more details as to how many and the procedure for
getting the assignments.
GRADING POLICY**: 35% midterm exam
45% FINAL EXAM
20% Programming Homework


ACCOUNT: If you have your own computers you should not need an account for this course. If not you
will need to get an account on the computers in one of the labs.
C Compiler: The C/Dev C++ compiler can be downloaded free. I will supply a web address, but you
can find one by searching for C compilers. You can use other compilers if there happens to
be one you like or know about. If you use a Mac you will need to search for one but they
are available for free.

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY: Anything and everything that is turned in is expected to be
prepared by each student ALONE! Verbal and informal
exchange of ideas is permitted, indeed encouraged.
However, the final material submitted must be done by
each student individually.
This policy will be strictly adhered to; any deviation will be
considered a violation of the academic code of conduct,
and result in an F grade.

It is my intent to cover all of the material in the schedule below. Time could cause us to not be able to do it all,
but we will not cover any more than what is listed below in the schedule.
