The Unit test project is added to the solution and there are two classes namely,

DAL: This is used mainly to test for Insert, Update, Read and Delete operations in
the Data Access Layer project.

Query Test: This is used to test the Query Builder that is developed for the
conversion of the user query in SPARQL query.

This contains testing methods of class Query, namely


Where, And, Or, orderby and Fields. All these are tested in this test case.

Open NUnit Application Add New Project and save it in your desired folder.

Add Assembly

Navigate to Project Tab , Click option Add Assembly … to add the dll or exe files for testing

Add Assembly

Navigate to the Project Folder in the system, Open “\Emisoft\UnitTest\bin\Debug” folder


and select “UnitTest.dll “file for testing.

After adding UnitTest.dll assembly to NUnit, You can see the items which are marked in the
red colored circle above fig.

Blue color circle represents the Methods that are written for testing. Like ‘CheckSave’,
‘QueryOrderTest’.

Before Running this Test , Navigate to Tool tab and select Option… a dialog box pops up and
check the box ‘Enable Visual Studio Support’ which is marked in the red colored circle in the
above fig.

Now Run the apllication by clicking on Run button as show in the above fig.

This is the process how the NUnit Application Test the TestCases. A Green Colored Progress bar
shows the successful Test for the methods.

This above fig shows you the successful Test. Red colored progress bar or small red color
filled circles show you the fail in test.
