RecTracker: NLUD places 43 out of 52
students in Class of '14; Luthra, AZB pick up 6
each
The graduating Class of 2014 at the National Law University, Delhi, has managed to place 43 out
of 52 students who sat for placement.The total strength of Class of '14 is 73.
In the domestic legal market, Luthra, and AZB were the biggest recruiters, hiring six students
each. The next biggest recruiter was PDS Legal with three recruits. Amarchand Mangaldas,
which recently opened a Gurgaon office (http://barandbench.com/content/212/amarchand-
enters-gurgaon-launch-eighth-office-four-delhi#.VAWXoFYRZg0), and Trilegal taking two
students each.
Khaitan & Co made three offers, none of which were accepted.
In the international market, three students were hired with Linklaters taking two students and
Herbert Smith hiring one.
The number of law firm placements are given below:

out of 49 offers made by various
law firms, companies and lawyers.

related placements are given
below:

Three students from the batch
went for litigation.

A total of seven students will be
pursuing higher studies while two
have opted for judicial clerkships
at the Supreme Court.
The Class of '14 had two different sets of RCC members with one set comprising Medha Vikram,
Divya Chawla, J. Megha, Manas Vibhu and Harshad Pathak. In September last year, this RCC
was dissolved, with new members including Meghna Chandra, Renuka Rajan, Anirudh K
Gandhi, Namit Jain and Rayan Azmi.
