accuracy, the EEC
patients will be able to:
a) Define urinary tract
infection; b)
b) Identify atleast (2)
signs and symptoms
of urinary tract
infections; c)
Discuss the risk
factors for prostate
cancer ; d) .
Describe the
tests/procedures
done to diagnose
prostate cancer.

Define Hypertension:

Hypertension is
called high blood
pressure. High blood
pressure is 140 over
90 or higher. A
diagnosis of high
blood pressure is
usually not made
until your blood
pressure is checked
several times and
stays high at each
check.

Causes of Hypertension:
Sedentary (inactive)
lifestyle.
Lack of physical
activity
High salt intake
High consumption of
alcohol
Smoking
Stress
Ageing
Genetics or family
history
