MMDA, The government institution, We pertain, the smoke belching unit the trustof national

government. There are two agencies work side by side, the DENR (Department of
Environment and Natural Resources), LTO (Land Transportation Office) and MMDA for
the National Capital Region. We are the ones who catch the smoke belchers using
different kinds of smoke meter/gadgets to measure before within the allowable
emission level. That apprehension will give the owner that you have to do something
about the maintenance of your vehicle, so that the function of vehicle will be reset to
the normal operating procedure which produces fewer emissions. If you were caught,
you have to change oil, clean your exhaust system, and then check your fuel ejection
pump and other moving parts that may alter the combustion chamber pump. And then
for our unit, the metropolitan group, we all know basically from our statistical vehicular
order special courses of college that plants and trees help in neutralizing the effect of
pollution. So for the better ________ in MMDA, we plant ornamental plants which are

there, and bougainvillea is known to be the most pollution resistant ______ plant
in the Philippines.
Int: Where do you live?
She: In Malabon.
int: Malabon. There is no bougainvillea there isnt it? But we encourage them that to
plant a ______. Like this portion gives shade, the one that has a huge rock, now for our
part we couldnt do anything because there is no place we could plant. There are few
plants in Center Island but plants in there are not pollution resistant, low maintenance.
But the effect we get is the same as bufferzone. We have centerisland bufferzone
