Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company
Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company is a subsidiary of NNPC (National
Nigeria P) that oversees the refining of the Federations Crude Oil into high
quality petroleum products, manufacturing of petrochemicals and packaging of
products to the satisfaction of her customers.
Her aims and objectives include:
To ensure that Quality of her products meet and exceed customer
specification.
To ensure that a reserve base is maintained.
Preparation of present input material for review.
Ensure continuous processing and plant monitoring to identify areas of non-
conformance.

Although the MaintSmart Software proposes a lot of solutions
to the present problems of effective Preventive Maintenance
and Inventory( purchasing and receiving) faced in KRPC, it
also includes additional functionality which will improve
overall machine efficiency and analysis of equipment , the
problem of integration is its only bane.
In view of the above stated, it will be in best interest of the
Management to wait until a more advanced version is released
so as to maximize the full potential of both our current system
and the proposed MaintSmart System.

Education
The internship period for
me was a period of
practicalisation as I
gained a fresh
perspective of the
theories I had learnt
during my time in school.
This experience has
made me a better person
and Computer Scientist. I
now understand the
importance of practical
experience to education.
