1. Are most famers aware of the newly introduced CGAP and its content? What
information do farmers have about CGAP, how could this be improved? Is access to
information different between low and high income farmers?
2. What are some of the biggest barriers and issues for farmers to qualify for CGAP? How
about for low income farmers specifically? And women farmers?
3. Given that the CGAP requirements are fairly new and that adherence to CGAP is
currently low, what could help low income farmers adequately apply and respond to
CGAP requirements? What types of assistance would they need?
4. What do you think could be some of the impacts to low income farmers in particular as
CGAP is more enforced e.g. losing subsidies, moving out of farming, lack of compliance,
adaptation?
