Lego Constitution

Preface

WE THE PEOPLE of the
Gutierrez home, in order to form a
more perfect household, establish
Justice, insure domestic tranquility,
provide for the common defense,
promote the general warfare, and
secure the blessings of Liberty to
ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain
and establish this Constitution for the
usage of the Legos.

Article I.
Section 1
All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in Queen
Barbara of Griffin, who shall have total jurisdiction over this household.
Section 2
All persons living in the Gutierrez household and subject to the
jurisdiction thereof shall be required to respect and obey the laws herein
described or else will be subject to any or all punishments listed.
Article II.
Section 1
The following laws enacted herein shall only be functional within the
hours of 6:00 to 8:00 A.M. or any other time deemed by the Queen to
be a time of haste.
Section 2
Legos are toys and hereby deemed not priorities. Therefore the
construction thereof shall be allowed only when duties are relieved, not
yet ordered, or otherwise nonexistent. If legos are constructed, those
involved shall be confiscated and returned at a later date.
Section 3
The use of previously constructed legos shall be allowed to the extent of
playing, acting, and fighting. The construction thereof is deemed a
distraction and is hereby prohibited.

Article III.
Section 1
The following laws enacted herein shall only be functional in times of
haste or under circumstances where excess noise is deemed distracting by
the Queen.
Section 2
At this time legos are stored in plastic containers. When construction
thereof is permitted it is generally custom to dig to find pieces. In certain
circumstances this can be deemed distracting by the Queen and shall be
prohibited until further notice. From that moment on, the constructor
must find an alternate way find pieces. Any violations will be confiscated.
Article IV.
It is expected that over time, there will be disputes or desired additions to
this Constitution. Therefore, the addition of an amendment to this
Constitution, if ratified by two-thirds of the household, shall be enacted
and annexed on to it.
Article IV.
The Ratification of the Conventions of two members shall be sufficient
for the establishment of this Constitution. Done in association with the
members of the Gutierrez household, on the thirtieth day of August, in
the year of our Lord two thousand fourteen and of the Independence of
this household people, we have hereunto subscribed our Names,

Amendments
The following laws are amendments to this constitution. Once
ratified, the bill in question shall be added on to this constitution. They
shall become the law as much as the other parts of this document, and the
government shall have just as much power to enforce them.

Amendment 1
The Queen shall pass no law restricting or enforcing the exact times of
Lego Use or exact details of the Lego building past what is determined
to be the appropriate stopping point. No law not under said restrictions
shall be passed.

Amendment 2
Lego usage, at times or in situations that have not been mentioned
anywhere in this document or when the Queen has not announced a
prohibition, the usage of Legos is hereby allowed.

Amendment 3
After the return home from the University of Learning, the extended
usage of toys is hereby prohibited until homework and other duties have
been completed. The Queen has the right to determine the point in time
past which Lego usage will be allowed.
