One of the purest forms of
alternative energy
A power able to fuel up aircrafts,
spacecrafts and vessels.
A medicine for certain incurable
diseases
A great source of worlds
electrical energy, although rare
A source of power capable of
destroying the whole world in
seconds

Internal damage to blood cells
Severe loss of White blood cells
Reduced production of platelets
Cancers like Leukemia, Multiple
Myeloma
Sterility
Miscarriages
Hyperthyroidism
Long term gene mutations

53 Million Gallons of radioactive waste
has been logged in Hanford, Washington
DC.
Life span of radioactive wastes : 1,00,000
+ years
No long term storage solution
Unavailability of space for Nuclear dumps
Temperature drop of 1.25
0
C after
Hiroshima Nagasaki blasts
Temperature drop of 4
0
C
Rise of smoke into atmosphere, blockage
of sunrays
Ozone depletion
Radioactive waste
33 countries possessing
nuclear power
433 working nuclear reactors.
65 reactors under
construction.
158 reactors planned to be
constructed.
Alarming Fact : Less than 20
reactors being used for energy
production, all others actually
work as bases for production
of nuclear weapons to
strengthen forces.

US President Barack
Obama :

We will make the
goal of eliminating all
nuclear weapons a
central element in
our nuclear policy.

US Federal Budget Figures in billion dollars
[Past 5 years]
United States of America and Russia
possess 95% of the nuclear weapons.
U.S. and Russia both have more than
3,000 nuclear missiles on hair trigger alert,
ready to launch in 15 minutes.
Most Important : US economy stands
straight due to corporate sector, arms and
ammunition business is the backbone of
US corporate world.
SHOCKING Fact : US doesnt have an
Arms Act for their own country, means the
Government actually allows the arms and
ammunition business to be the corporate
backbone.
Nuclear power is capable
of destroying the whole
world within milliseconds.
Nuclear disasters at
Fukushima-Daichi,
Chernobyl etc. killed lots
of people and injured
countless people.
99 nuclear disasters till
date, 56 in USA itself.
New threat of today :
Nuclear Terrorism
Event Year/ Period of Time
Uprising by scientists,

survivors

China, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel,
North Korea, Pakistan, United
States Denied to ratify Nuclear
Non-Proliferation Treaty and
Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban
Treaty.
India & Pakistan carried out two
sets of tests after CTBT proposal
; North Korea carried out 3 sets of
tests.
Nuclear reactor in Antarctica
was shut down, and completely
dismantled.

Our planet sits on a bubble of nuclear
fuel heap underneath and the day the bubble
of our mutual tolerance bursts, it will result
in unleashing of this nuclear power. Our
entire race and our planet will be gulped in
by these tiny nuclear atoms.
WE DONT RULE THESE ATOMS ANYMORE, THEY HAVE
STARTED TO RULE US.
Security cannot be achieved through the
continued reliance on weapons.
Disarmament and Arms Control must be given
highest priority across the globe.
Fulfillment of commitments is integral to
maintaining the Arms Control and the
Disarmament .
As its a long process before the peace is attained
through them but every single step towards it
defines will we ever attain it or not.

United we stand, divided we fall. Its time,
for the world, for every single citizen of every
country, to step forward, create awareness,
and to aim for a complete disarmament ; to
get rid of nuclear weapons, to manage
radioactive isotopes for better ways such as
nuclear medicines and energy production,
and of course to make the world a better
place for every individual to live in.
