e are in the throes of Mahabharat. Over 450 participants from all
over the world have come to take part in this grand epic, a story
that happened over 5,000 years ago, but in many ways is as
relevant today as ever. Over 100,000 verses depicting a few thousand
characters from their births to their deaths their conquerings, joys,
miseries and previous lives. For these eight days, we are not covering the
story as a story, but as it is relevant to us. It is an opportunity for people to
live through the story, to experience the depth and dimension of what it
means to be a human being.

Sadhguru on
Environment - In
Conversation with the
Mystic
So full of fire she had to be of fire
Of passion, pride, shame and rage.
Too fiery to rise, too fiery to fall.
Her beauty and passion consumed all.
line 3What a lovely snare
But when life gets mean
You will want a good man.
And a good man
As tedious as
Only good can get.
But when life gets mean
You will want a good man..
Even Krishna is not free from what it means to be a human being. He says,
Now that I have come as a human body, I am subject to all the limitations
of being human, though I am capable in a different way. When I wish to,
I can move to another sphere. But I am born out of a mothers womb. I
will die and I will go through everything else that every human being
goes through.
That is dharma. Many things that you did when you were 14 years of age,
dont you look back and say, Was this me? I had to do all these things? If
you dont think so, that means you have not grown at all, you are still only
14. So, there is a certain process. Once you take this body, there is a certain
natural law about this process. But it also leaves you with one end open;
this is the thing about being human. For every other creature, nature has
fixed both ends. For a human being, nature has fixed one end. Krishna
clearly says, Even for me, one end is fixed. The other end is open. And I
want to see that this is open for everyone else.
Yaksha kicked off Monday night, and we had a glorious performance by
Bharatanatyam dancer Alarmel Valli in front of the Linga Bhairavi
Temple. Am now off to Day Two.its been a nonstop celebration at the
ashram, and there is more to come Mahashivarathri is less than one
week away.
Love and Blessings,

Mahabaharat certainly has some lesson to learn for every one. But, I have heard
many say that - it has all lessons for all. If Sadhguru looks at it and brings to all
of us - it has to be from quite a REFRESHING ANGLE. I love this way of looking
at it.
Yudhishtir was a Good Man - but may be a little boring. But, Krishna was also a
Good man - but, extraordinarily exciting at every moment of his life - and at every
moment of the lives of those who adored him.

I laughed out loud when I got to the place in Yudhisthira's poem where Sadhguru
referred to his complete goodness "as tedious as only good can get."
It was that familiar knowing of how good people can seem, dare I say boring?
How really good people may not be that interesting or exciting to be around all
the time.
But then I was sobered by the next line - yes, it is good to have good people
around you as they know better how to behave when life gets mean.
And Sadhguru's poem about Destiny, such a comfort to be reminded that only
one end is fixed.
I look forward to Wednesday's posts - Wednesday morning is the new Friday
happy hour for me.

mahabharta again is going on after 5000 years . at those times many peoples
were made victims and now also many and many peoples are made victims to
take the revenge .
request peoples should try to stop the bad happenings and should save ,
because thruth of all animities and revenges comes from the times of king
daksha and shiva confilict and the before the time of ten avatars of vishnu .
the person who was on mistake should be brought in front of all . and what was
the real cause behind all the quarrels so far took placed .

See, every where if there is aplus there must also be a minus even in you
and me we have many plus points and negatives. You cannot say that
only good things must happen.
As you mentioned, lord Vishnu's 10 avatars,
In almost in 8 avatars, he was in the human form.
Predecessors say bhagavat manushya roopena.....
Which means god in the human form.
If you want to change the world you must take the initiative and you must
be true at all causes.........
You must plant trees and you must have good thoughts.
If you start thinking, you can teach some one.
Although if you may have failures in your life, your listener may recieve
success from it.
If you teach him, he can teach it to 10 people and hence it can is spread.
so you first follow some disciplines and then advice to others/..............

This is the best story in terms of the number of characters and the variety of their
life. Some how people of this generation are comfortable watching the Mega
Serials in TV. It is good effort by Isha to bring it in to our life in today's context.

Mahabharath .....has thousands of stories. But we have to understand that in right
sense. Some people interpret the in the same way and jump into arguments like
this is wrong & that is wrong. It is a story which has all pros & cons and delivered
as it is to us to understand the life from all aspects.
Sadhguru may eloborate the same and show new dimensions which are beyond
our thinking and understanding.

Feels like someone has weaved not just a stage, but the whole era, in all its
intricacy, passion, and intrigue, in the magnificent Adi Yogi Alayam hall. The
amazing personalities have come alive within us, the worst and the best of
human nature, the righteous and the wicked, and through the tapestry of the
breathtaking decoration, i actually feel like it is happening right now...never heard
the story before but it feels like it is actually happening NOW :)
