Diagnosis Organizacional

Can be defined to the diagnosis as an analytical process that allows to know the
royal situation of the organization at any one time to discover problems and areas
of opportunity, in order to correct the first ones and to take advantage of the
second ones.
In the diagnosis they examine and improve the systems and practices of the
communication he hospitalizes and external of an organization in all his levels and
also the such communication productions of an organization like tales, metaphors,
symbols, appliances and the comments that the people of the organization do in
his daily conversations. For such an effect a great diversity of tools is in use,
depending on the wished depth, of the variables that want to be investigated, of the
available resources and of the groups or specific levels between those who are
going to be applied.
The diagnosis is not an end in yes same, but it is the first essential step to perfect
the communication functioning of the organization. Conditions to carry out the
diagnosis organizacional to be able to carry out successfully a diagnosis
organizacional must fulfill some basic requirements:
1. Initiating the process of diagnosis is indispensable to possess the intention of
change and the commitment of support on the part of the client (term used in
Development Organizacional to designate to the person or group directly interested
in that carries out a transformation in the system and with the sufficient authority to
promote it). That is to say, that is ready to realize the resultant changes of the
diagnosis.
2. The "client" must give wide facilities to the consultant (boarder or day pupil) for
the obtaining of information and not to obstruct the process of diagnosis.
3. The consultant will handle the information that is obtained of the process in
absolutely confidential form, delivering the general results without mentioning the
persons who provided the information.
4. Also it must provide feedback brings over from the results of the diagnosis to the
sources of which the information was obtained.
5. The success or failure of the diagnosis depends to a great extent on the client
and of the fulfillment of the agreements that it does with the consultant
Elements of the diagnosis organizacional Can divide to the diagnosis
organizacional in three principal stages: Generation of information, which includes
in turn three aspects:
1. The form in which there are gathered the information, the tools and the used
processes. 2. The methodology used to compile the information, which follows two
currents, the methods used to obtain information from the client (interviews,
questionnaires) and used to obtain it from the consultant (observation). 3. The
frequency with which there is gathered the information, which depends on the
stability of the system.

Perspectives of the diagnosis organizacional
The diagnosis organizacional divides in two principal perspectives, the functional
and different cultural one, each one with his own aims, methods and technologies.
They are complementary between yes and give origin to two types of diagnosis:
