End of day procedures With effect from Monday 22nd September, children from 5LM, 6AD and 6CM, will exit the school building at home time via classroom doors. Please collect your child from the calm garden.
Y6 Monitors Children have now been allocated monitor roles. For the children who have early morning roles, they do not need to be in school any earlier than 8.30 am. The children who have after school roles, should be finished by 3.30 pm.
Parent/Teacher Consultation evenings Wednesday 8th October, and Wednesday 15th October from 3:30pm- 5:30pm.

Bikeability This will take place during weeks commencing 6 th and 13 th October. More information to follow.
Spellings The children will also have spellings to learn weekly. Please test your child at-least 5 times a week, tick the chart and then sign the book. This should only take a few minutes each time.
Reading In Y5 and Y6 children are expected to take reading bags home every night. You will find we have reading tasks at the front of our journals to complete at home (a minimum of three per week) to support our reading.
Maths You can expect your child to receive at least 1 piece of maths homework a week, usually on a Friday, although this will depend on the topics being covered. The homework may be practising some mental strategies, which we consider to be vitally important and using websites to help with learning.
E-Learning We have been learning how to keep safe online. You can make sure that your child is using the Internet safely and appropriately by checking about E-Safety on the school website: www.sbcschools.org.uk/inglebymill.
Uniform May we take this opportunity to remind you of the schools policy regarding school uniform. The uniform consists of: navy sweatshirt/ cardigan white polo shirt/ blouse/ shirt grey trousers/ shorts/ skirt/ pinafore blue and white checked or striped dresses in summer plain white t-shirt and navy shorts for indoor P.E. black shoes. We ask that all children wear proper school shoes during the school day. Jewellery should not be worn with the exception of a stud earring. Nail varnish is not permitted.
P.E. The children will need navy or black shorts and a white T-shirt for indoor sessions and a track suit for outdoor sessions. Outdoor PE sessions may vary due to the weather. Jewellery for PE is not permitted and long hair should be tied back.
Y6 National Tests: Week beginning Monday 11th May Please note that no authorised absences will be given during this week and we hope you will avoid booking holidays in the weeks leading up to the tests.
