1) Tell me something that

people should know about

why you are seeking the
seat in the 2nd Congressio-
nal District.
I am a resident of the dis-
trict for 10 years and the
representation through
our congressman and now
congresswoman of the un-
addressed, pressing, dire
needs for our district has
/ is absolutely abysmal. I
decided that I can no lon-
ger depend on the so-called
professional politicians
who have spent years hon-
ing their skills and turn out
to be corrupt and phony
as a three dollar bill, then I
had to stand up as a citizen
and seek this important of-
fce as Mr. Lewis Goes To
Washington. Send me
is my theme.
I see and know the needs
that any decent-minded
human being knows must
be exposed, addressed,
and fought for till help and
resources arrive to abso-
lutely remedy our woefully
languishing issues only
a federal government can
solve.
I am the right solution the
people of the district need
right now, hands down
the best we have to offer.
Simply honesty with the
determination of a stub-
born mule and gifted with
the foresight of a vision-
ary. This is who Marcus
Lewis is and this is what
motivates me everyday to
seek and win this offce as
if my life and the lives of
the residents depended on
it November 4th, 2014.

5) Why did you decide to
run as a Write-in candi-
date?
Given lemons and turn it
into lemonade...
After I fled to run in the
March 18th, 2014 Primary
and was removed from
the ballot by Robin Kelly
through her operatives,
the I found myself seeing
the Write-in as the only
avenue I had available to
win this seat to represent
the residents of the 2nd
District...so I prayed and
got busy devising a win-
ning strategy similar to U.S.
Senator Lisa Murckowski
in 2010 and Mike Duggan,
Mayor of Detroit in 2013.
With the simplicity of touch
screen voting in Cook &
Kankakee Counties and
the ease of the scanning
paper ballots in Cook, Will
&Kankakee Counties cou-
pled with the technology
of the smartphone touch
screen we use in our daily
lives...WE CAN ACTUALLY
WIN THIS ELECTION!

6) What is the employment
rate in the 2nd District?
At this writing, I do not have
this data.

7) What are the primary job
types in the District?
The 2nd Congressional
District was, for most of the
20th century, a thriving cen-
ter of heavy industry cen-
tered around Lake Calumet
and the Port of Chicago,
augmented by the nearby-
railroad industry which had
the Pullman Company as
its centerpiece. The steel
industry was a major com-
ponent, with U.S. Steel at
one time employing 20,000
district residents, but the
Wisconsin Steelworks in
South Deering [13] closed
in March 1980, and U.S.
Steels South Works plant
in South Chicago [14]
source of the steel for Chi-
cago skyscrapers includ-
ing theSears Tower was
closed in April 1992; both
have since been disman-
tled. Virtually the last rem-
nant of the industry in the
area is ISG Riverdale (for-
merly the Acme Steel Co.),
which began a shutdown in
2001 before being sold and
restructured as a smaller
company.[15] The most sig-
nifcant remaining industri-
al presence in the district is
now the Ford Motor Com-
pany, which operates the
Chicago Assembly plant
(where the Ford Taurus is
manufactured) on the bor-
der between South Deering
and Hegewisch, as well as
the Chicago Stamping fa-
cility in Chicago Heights.
Like the 1st District, the
area is struggling to over-
come economic downturns
in recent decades.

8) What is the educational
opportunities in the District
ie. grade, high and college
and jr colleges?
I am studying this as we

this at a later time.

leges in the District?

State, Olive Harvey, Gov-
enors State University, Ol-
ivet Nazarene University,

lege, St. Viator College.

unmarried women in the
District by race and age?
At this writing, I do not have
this data.

12) What is the crime rate in
the District and where are
the most serious crimes
cimmitted, ie. murders,
rapes and drug dealings?
The rate of crime in the
District is highest in the
impoverish areas of Chi-
cagos South East Side.
The shootings are daily
and on weekends as has
been reported in the news
is double-digit. There are a
host of reasons for this gun
violence, all are attributed
to lack of jobs, industry for
which to work to support
families. This has been go-
ing on for decades.

13) What is the rate of tav-
erns veres schools in the
District?
At this writing, I do not have
this data.

12) Name the towns in the
District?
Starting in Cook County,
Chicago, Burnham, Calumet
City, Riverdale, Markham,
Harvey, Country Club Hills,

wood, Olympia Fields, Ha-
zel Crest, Flosmoor, Park
Forest, Steger, Sauk Vil-
lage, University Park, Crete,

tailed map of the District?
Yes.

14) What are the ten major
businesses in the District
(By Name and location and
addresses) and what is
their percentage of black
and hispanic employees?

At this writing, I do not have
this data.
15) Of all the political lead-
ers in the United States to-
day, which one do you ad-
mire most and why?
U.S. Senator Bernie Sand-
ers, Independent. He,
literally single-handedly
speaks out on the issues
that common, everyday
decent Americans care
about and he Champions
for their best interests
when it comes to what the
Federal Government can
make a great difference in
their lives. Just as the Top
1% has their people who
look to the Federal Govern-
ment to get them the deals
that we are living under but
these deals are not in the
best interests at all for the
bottom 99%. Both need
government, it is just who
will get it is the big ques-
tion of our time.

16) What is you opinion of
the job Congresswoman
Robin Kelly is doing?
Since she is bought & paid
for by Former New York
Mayor Michael Bloomberg
and a pawn. She is only
seat holding for the next
machine candidate, I have
no regard for her as con-
gressperson because of the
way she was manipulated
the voters to get the seat in
the frst place. Robin Kelly
protects the interests of the
ones that chose her for the
offce. She is does not care
for the common people of
the district one iota out-
side of having the moment
to vote for her at election
time. After that she is invis-
ible to the constituents and
vise-versa.

17) Have you reached out
to any ministers in the 2nd
District seeking their ad-
vice on issues relative to
improving conditions and
opportunities in the 2nd
Congressional District?

No. Sorry to say, many of
the ministers back Robin
Kelly. I am a ordained
minister since 1999. I will
work with whoever desires
to work positively with me
too address the everyday,
gnawing problems that
continue to fester and di-
minish the hopes, dreams
and aspirations of the pres-
ent & future generations.
Basically, Purposely and
intentionally stymied to be
a permanent under class of
people.
The clergy must let go of
the machine politics and
be honest before Almighty
God that to continue to
give cover for this behavior
God abhors. The residents
deserve our utmost best to
serve them and make their
lives the best that is avail-
able and then better than
that.
