Overview
Version 2.9.5 of the ANI Sakai CLE improves the performance, stability, and usability of the
CLE. It includes enhancements as well as several critical bug fixes. The release is based on
version 2.9.3 of community Sakai.

Release Highlights

Lesson Builder
A setting has been added to control the display of "Download file" links for embedded
content (LSNBLDR-350)

LTI (External Tools)
In this release, the process for selecting external tools (LTI integrations) via the Site Editor
has been streamlined. When a Sakai administrator makes an external tool available to site
owners, the tool will be included in the list of tools that can be selected on the Site Tools
page (SAK-22108).

Profile
A user can now remove a profile image so that no image displays (SAK-27121).

Search
This release improves the performance and stability of search in the CLE. The Elasticsearch
solution has been upgraded to version 1.1.2, and we have also addressed issues with this
implementation in a clustered Sakai environment.

Note: Due to incompatibility, the previous search implementation has been removed in this
release. If you are an on-premise ANI client, keep in mind that properties for the
Elasticsearch implementation have changed and must be updated. For more information,
see the 2.9.5 Additions section of the ANI Sakai CLE 2.9 Deployment Guide.

Syllabus
Via property setting (syllabus.new.published.default=true/false), institutions can determine
whether the default status of newly added items is published or draft (SAK-27817).

When attempting to view postings from RSS feed, blank page displays (CLE-11080)

When using Firefox browser, the email link does not work and a blank page is
displayed (CLE-11163)

Very slow loading times in forums with large number of posts (CLE-11239)

Rich text editor (CKEditor)
Excessive content load time in server browser when linking to a site with large

Syllabus
