I-cord
With 2 dpns cast on 4 sts. *Knit one row. Without turning work, slide the
sts back to beg of the row. Pull yarn tightly from the end of the row. Rep
from * until I-cord measures 41"/104cm. Fasten off. Using diagram as
guide, sew I-cord to square.
Bobbles (make 3)
Make slip knot, leaving a long tail, and place on needle. Inc by knitting into
front, back, front, back, front of slip knot5 sts.
Next row (WS) Purl. Knit 1 row, purl 1 row.
Next (dec) row (RS) Ssk, k1, k2tog, pass sts one at a time over last st
made. Fasten off, leaving tail of equal length to cast-on tail.
With yarn needle, thread cast-on tail through last st, pulling to further
shape bobble. Thread bound-off tail through yarn needle, now using both
tails to sew bobbles to square at B as in diagram.
