I chose to do an even split of
genders of people I asked to make
sure my results were not biased.
This shows the main ages group
my target audience will be
between the ages of 17-19
Many of these bands are of the alternative
rock genre, this will help me know which bands
to write about when doing music articles

Only 1 of the people I asked chose a
horror film,2 chose comedy, 3 cult
films,2 fantasy/adventure,1 a
biography and 2 romcoms. This
allows me to see my target audience
like cult films best and these would
be the most popular to write about.
60% said they would not be
interested in voting/do not vote so I
now know not to feature much
politics as its clearly not a hot topic
for my target audience
I have found lots of people in my target
audience have been to festivals, some of
them even going to 3 this year. This shows
me that this would be an interesting topic
to for them to read about.

Surprisingly more people than I thought spend their time watching youtubers and online blogging, so
this would be a good feature and one I had not thought to have before
I now have a colour scheme
for my magazine that appeals
to my target audience.

now I have decided
my front cover
should be a photo.
I know for the age of

text so now I know
how to structure my
text and images
