JOINT PLATFORM TABLET (JPT)

DRS Joint Platform Tablet (JPT) provides all-in-one computing

functionality for space-constrained vehicle applications. The
JPT is an ultra-rugged computer designed specifically for
demanding military applications. The JPT features a military-
grade aluminum case, Dual Core Processor, 128 GB Solid
State removable hard drive and a 10.4-inch XGA display with
dependable 5-wire touch screen display. The display is NVIS
capable.
The JPT meets MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and features
embedded MIL-STD-1275 power conditioning. The JPT can
be hard-mounted directly into a vehicle platform without the
added costs of an additional vibration isolation kit. Future
capability enhancement is provided via embedded SAASM
GPS and embedded TacLink/PCIDM modem options and a
Type III PCMCIA slot. Additionally, JPT systems provide for
future CPU upgrades to processors and enhanced 2 GB RAM
expandable to 4GB.
DRS JPT is already the rugged tablet of choice for:

U.S. Army Movement Tracking System (MTS) Program

U.S. Army PM Mortars Dismounted Mortar Tablet

U.S. Marine Corps Target Location Designation Hand-Off
System (TLDHS) Program
U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party Modernization
(TACP-M) Program
U.S. Army Intelligent Munitions Systems (IMS) Program
U.S. Army Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and
Below/Blue Force Tracking system (FBCB2/BFT)
U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
DRS JPT provides rugged and reliable computing to the
Warfighter for use with mission critical applications.
Warfighters depend on DRS for computer systems that go
wherever the mission is.
