POSITION TITLE: IT Corporate Intern FUNCTION: Information Systems Division

LOCATION: Bentonville, AR REPORTS TO: IT Departmental Manager

Position Description:
The 2015 Information Systems summer internship program is designed to prepare you for a full-time role
within Walmart Information Systems Division (ISD). Walmart ISD consists of five different areas which
include Infrastructure, Customer Planning & Analysis, Strategic Services, Application Development, and
Security. Walmart Information Systems is deeply embedded in all operations of the enterprise providing
immediate and constant support. This program and project will expose you to the broad scope of the
Walmart Enterprise and complete at least one impactful project in one or more of the five areas of the
Information Systems Division.

Walmarts project-based internships allow you to take classroom learning and apply it in a high impact
manner. No matter which department of the Information Systems Division you work in, you will be trusted
with a critical project and will serve as an integral part of a team responsible for the completion and
success of that project.

Preferred Qualifications:
Seeking degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information
Systems, Information Technology, Statistics, or Informatics.
Strong analytical and computer skills
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Motivated to deliver high quality results
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Sound business acumen
Strong initiative to excel
Preferred GPA 3.00+
Second language a plus
