PHASE I: INTRODUCTORY
PHASE

In the introductory phase the teacher
presents before the students a
documentary film on a leading
industrialist and social worker from
one among we Malayalees
Dr. Ravi Pillai
It presented his social commitment
and how he is serving the society

DEVELOPMENTAL PHASE

Activity 1

In the developmental phase through
brain storming, teacher tried to correct
from the students their viewpoints
relating to the rationale for social
responsibilities


Activity III : Power point Presentation

Through power point presentation the
teacher presented before the students
the rationales for social
responsibilities in 8 different slides
covering the related aspects

1. Better image for the business
Dr. Ravi Pillais example was in this
sequence since he contributes towards
solving the societal problems.

for his business in the market

business
Ravi Pillai the name itself earns
favourable environment for the
business he conducts. Whether Kerala,
or Mumbai or in middle East, he has a

Titanium and Reliance etc are
providing were plans for residing
wastage created by them or projects
for redemption of these industrial

right to sell the products in any market,
in the same sense, they too have the
responsibility to sell quality based
products with ISI or ISO certification
Most of the electronic goods we have
are with ISO certification

6. Minimizing government
resolution
Leading reputed firms which provides
quality products to the society and for
a sense that it solves societal problems
the government provides certain tax
relaxations for such units

where environmental problems are
attacking the people surrounding on a
large scale.
A socially responsible unit should
always look forward that they are not
creating any social problems and it so,
they should necessarily take steps
against it.
