LIST OF PRACTICALS
1. Develop an inventory system, using visual basic as front end tool and MS-Access as back end tool.
Create an inventory database and do the following operations.
i.
to insert, update, view and delete the items available.
ii.
Prepare purchase and sale report.
Draw business and use case models to support your program. Key in, debug and execute
the program.
2. Develop a program which will automate the bank operations, using Visual basic as front end tool and
MS-Access ac back tool. Create a bank database and do the following operations.
i.
to create a new account
ii.
to update, view and delete an existing account
iii.
to deposit amount into the account
iv.
to withdraw the amount
v.
to find and check the balance amount.
Construct entity relationship and DFD diagram to support your program. Key in, debug and
execute the program.
3. Develop an application to manage the library operations, using Visual basic as front end tool and
MS-Access as back end tool. Create a library database and do the following operations.
i.
to insert, update, view and delete the books in the library database
ii.
generate the return date automatically during registration of books
Draw business, use case models to support your program. Key in, debug and execute the program.
4. Develop a dictionary program, using Visual basic as front end tool and MS-Access as back end tool.
Create a dictionary database and do the following operations.

to list out all the words in the dictionary
ii.
to search and find out the synonym and antonym of a given word
iii.
to add new words to the existing dictionary
