You have R 50 000 to invest for a period of 5 years.

You are trying to decide if it is better to invest it locally, or to send it offshore and invest it
in America.

6.1 If you invest your money in a South African bank you will receive 6% interest per
annum compounded monthly. Calculate how much money you would have at the
end of the investment period.
