C45 Fuser sub-thermistor open. User problems. Reset required. Turn off
power. Hold "0" & "8" keys while turning power on. Then press "8". Then
press "9". Then press "print". You will read "3" in the display. Using the
# keys, press "0" & "9" at the same time.

Hold down the "Start" and "nine" buttons together while turning machine on.

When machine goes beep you can let go. When it says "LIST PRINT" enter 102.
When it says "input start code" enter 200 press start, When it says "input
end code" Enter 300. press start. Machine will print a list look down the
list for a 6 digit code , usually it will be one space to the left of where
the other codes end. Its usually at or around code 263. On newer machines
it will be ****** ( 6 Asterisks) not a number. If number is displayed you
can enter that when accessing admin or if its ****** ( 6 Asterisks). You
will have to go into 08 setting mode punch in the code number with the
****** ( 6 Asterisks) next to it and enter a new 6 digit code that will
become your new admin code. Hope that helps
If 1st time occur, u can just go to 08-400, reset the value to "0" then
restart the machine.
When this code not cleat 08-400 then check these all thengs..
1.Check the thermistors
(1) Check if the connectors are disconnected.
(2) Check if the main and edge thermistors are in contact with the surface
of the fuser roller properly?
(3) Check if the harnesses of the main and edge thermistors are open
circuited.
2. Check the IH board and IH coil
(1) Check if the IH coil is broken.
(2) Check if the connector of the IH coil is disconnected.
(3) Check if the thermostat is blown.
(4) Check if the connectors on the IH board are disconnected (AC input
connector and LGC I/F connector
CN455/456).
(5) Check if the IH board or the switching power supply unit are abnormal.
Replace the IH control board.
3. Check the LGC board
(1) Check if the connectors CN316 are disconnected.
(2) Check if the conductor pattern on the LGC board is short circuited or

open circuited.
(3) Replace the LGC board.
