Marketing Plan

The service we intended to provide is Outsourcing of Customer Service
from U.S. based hospitals The customer service providers would be registered
nurses based in the Philippines particularly in the CALABARZON area. The main
and initial start-up office would be in Nuvali, Sta.Rosa Laguna.
There is a big potential for this service market. This concept is fairly new in
the country, hence the competition is low. Eventhough BPO industries have
flourished in the country for some time now, the idea of servicing U.S. based
hospitals with their customer service needs is a relatively new concept. Our
company will provide manpower to these U.S. based hospitals via high-speed
internet telephone. The R.N. Custmer service provider will provide assisstance in
the areas of: appointment scheduling , pre and port-op health teaching to the
clients, assissting clients and connecting them with primary care physicians. And if
need arises, connecting clients with different specialists in the field of medicine
such as: Neurologists, Cardilogists, Nephrologists, and etc.
Unit pricing will be based on each completed customer service call. The
goal is to finish as many completed calls without sacrificing premium customer
service experience. At the end of each call, clients will be ask to volunteer torate
their customer service experience. Each completed call not exceeding 15 minutes
will be charged $2.50 (two dollars and fifty cents). Calls exceeding 15 minutes will
be charged $1 for every 10 minutes. The pricing policy will vary from one state in
the U.S. to another state. On the 20th of each month, participating hospitals will
be charged for the service performed. Then on the first day of each month,
financial payments will be made for the services provided via electronic banking
deposit.
The Distribution channel will not be limited to U.S. based hospitals, but also
to Canada.
Promotion of the services will be made via direct communication to the
hospital companies. Efforst will be made to make them see the practicality and
cost efficiency of the service that will bee provided. Competency of the R.N.
providers who will take up the calls for their cients will also be highligthed. An
initial budget of 2 million pesos for marketing the service to different hospitals in
U.S. and Canada will be provided.
The sales forecast for this service will largely depend on how many
hospitals can be contracted. For one hospital for example, if we can complete 1
call for every 15 minutes and the number of personnel completing those calls are
20, the gross income for 8 hours shift would be $1600 dollars(one thousand six
hundred dollars). The peak months for our service would be during flu season in
both U.S. and Canada (December March). The slow season would be during
summer months of June-August.
The projected sales estiamte for one month would be $1,600 x 30 days = $
48,000 or 2.1 million pesos.
