Low Carbon school, “wat Sawang-Arom ” opens


Wat Sawang –Arom opens its
doors under the Low carbon
School Project on Koh Samui.
The 8th school in our quest for
10 in 2009.
Presiding over the opening
were khun Suraphong from the
Tessban, Khun Mike of THA
Southern East coast chapter,
John Ens President of the Green
Team. the General Manager
Khun Magne , and the Team
from the Impiana led by khun
Oi, khun Paisal from the Tess-
ban, and the Directors for the
school and local community
chiefs.
And not to forget khun Wittaya
the chief Gardener of Imperial
and khun Mem, the Training
coordinator.
Thank you all

Time and effort, that all it takes to make a big difference in our future!

Once again we must applaud and say


thank you to khun Suraphong and to khun
Magne, without their support, all that has
bee done would be like water under the
bridge, in joining forces we have been
able to achieve fantastic results, with our
children and teachers.

The school kitchen Garden
Khun and The General
Manager of Imperial Samui
along with khun John Ens,
GM of Rocky and head of
the green team under THA,
inspect the beginning of a
healthy kitchen garden, we
can see the lemon grass,
hot and sweet basil, some
young cabbage or kale,
small papaya trees, and
egg plant seedlings a swell.
Re using waste ground,
great effort.
