Installation README
This version of Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility is
compatible with the following adapters:
- Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
- Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200
- Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250
- Intel WiFi Link 5300
- Intel WiFi Link 5100
- Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350
- Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150
- Intel WiFi Link 1000
- Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
- Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AG_
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
The CCX SDK version number for this release is 1.1.13.
Print this file so that you can refer to it during installation.
Downloading the driver
=======================
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the
downloaded file.
Extracting the driver
=====================
1. Click Start, then click Start Search.
2. Type 8m03lc36g03.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere.
This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the 8m03lc36g03.exe.
4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5. Click I accept the agreement.
6. Click Next.
7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLAN\8m03lc36g03.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Finish.
Installing the driver
=====================
Windows 7 (32-bit) / Vista (32-bit):
1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run.
2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLAN\8m03lc36g03\Win7\S32\Install\Setup.exe (Windows
7)
or C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLAN\8m03lc36g03\Vista\v32\Install\Setup.exe (Vista),
then click OK.
3. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
4. If needed, restart your system when the installation is complete.
Windows 7 (64-bit) / Vista (64-bit):
1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run.
2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLAN\8m03lc36g03\Win7\S64\Install\Setup.exe (Windows
7)
or C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLAN\8m03lc36g03\Vista\v64\Install\Setup.exe (Vista),
then click OK.
3. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
4. If needed, restart your system when the installation is complete.
