PROPOSAL FOR GPS/GPRS BASED AUTOMATED TRACKING SYSTEM

Delhi Freight Carriers:

A Bangalore based Transport Company; it is engaged in LPG cylinder transportation to various

parts of Karnataka with its total fleet size of 100 plus vehicles.

Proposal Framework:

With a focus on efficiently monitoring the operational efficiency of it’s Fleet and in order to
reduce the Turn-around time of the vehicles , DFC is interested to implement GPS &
GPRS/GSM based Automated Tracking System with Web-based Fleet Management
Application.

The company is presently facing the following challenges towards managing its Fleet of Vehicles:

1. Real time information not available to the user about the current location of the Fleet.

2. Automated Reporting status of the Fleet with reference to the Bottling Plants not available.

3. Automated report specifying the authorized and unauthorized stops not available to the user.

4. Automated reports like: Daily Travel, Speed, Stop, Route Tracker, Travel Summary etc not
available.

Objectives of the Proposal:

1. To provide a Web –Based solution using the latest technology available in the vehicle
Tracking domain to meet the above challenges.

2. To generate and provide various MIS reports for effective decision-making in order to increase
the ROI.

Terms & Conditions:

1) The prices quoted above are exclusive of Taxes. V.A.T & Service Tax is
applicable as per Government rates on the Hardware, Application Software
and AMC.
2) 50% advance payment for the Hardware to be made along with the P.O and balance
before delivery.
3) One Year Warranty is applicable on the Hardware .AMC charges are applicable from the
2nd year onwards as per the rates quoted.
4) Travelling and Boarding charges at actual will be applicable for attending to the service
calls at the remote locations.
5) The minimum project guarantee is for 3 years and may be extended with prior written
consent from both the parties.
6) The propriety rights for the Hardware & the Application software are reserved with PCS
Technology Limited .
7) Customer to procure GPRS sim cards from a cellular service provider and make it
available to the PCS technician in activated condition prior to installation.

Scope of Supply by PCS Technology:

1 Minimum 15 days is required to implement the Project from the date of receipt of the P.O
along with the Advance payment.

2. The necessary training for the using the Web Based application will be given to the customer.

Customers Responsibility:

1. To make the trucks available with proper electrical connections .

2. To give the vehicle registration No. before the installation for Data integration.

3. To provide with the contact details of the responsible persons for coordination at the time of
Installation.
