POSITION PURPOSE: Clinical pharmacist provide pharmaceutical care to patients by monitoring drug
therapies, reviewing medication orders, providing drug information; In addition, clinical pharmacists provide
clinical guidance to pharmacy and health care staff.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BSc or Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm.D! degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Experience: BSc. Degree at least " years of e#perience as a clinical pharmacist. Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Pharma D! at least $ year e#perience as a clinical pharmacist. Post baccalaureate Pharm D at least
$ year e#perience as a clinical pharmacist. Post baccalaureate %.S. at least $ year e#perience as a
clinical pharmacist.

Licensure: Current &ational 'icense
Desired: a post graduate (ualification in clinical pharmacy Preferably %aster Degree!
Certifcation and other requirements: None, must have a good computer s)ills ability to communicate
clearly, )nowledge in drug information and research. *bility to provide direction for pharmacy
support staff as re(uested by supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ability to use computer for +,- hrs, ability to stand for long time in patient
care round and to help in facilitate medication chec)ing or dispensing to patients as re(uired. .o wor) all shifts as

Monitors for drug interactions, duplication of therapy, allergies,
