1 Fit the tanks
(700 litre to the left, 300 litre to the right)
as they are fitted as standard on
LA4x2NA, but in a 38 mm higher position,
(38 mm is c/c between the holes in
tank bracket reinforcement).
2 For this, the holes in the tank bracket
must be drilled with 14.8mm.
3 Length position for hole pattern is
specified on the attached drawing.

1 Behind the front fuel tank bracket on
left-hand side, fit separator inserts: wedge,
centre fuel tank bracket and
the rearmost fuel tank brackets must be fitted with a
spacer.
2 Rear bracket on the right-hand side is fitted on
the spacing plate assy, 2 off existing holes in
the crossmember are drilled in the side member XM 3881
& 3off through the spacer bracket XM 3751 for
this.
For the front bracket, separator insert
(wedge) is fitted behind the existing bracket.

extended using a straight union 812884
plus cap nut/ferrule/insert sleeve.
2 If a standing heater is fitted,
place nylon string 384036 in
the heater suction line!
3 Program if the vehicle is equipped with a tank
using SDP3.
Torque:
Tank support 135 Nm.
Tank strap: 50 Nm.
Tap: 25 Nm & then tighten further to the correct position
Stop: 25 Nm.
Bleed nipple: 25 Nm & and then tighten further
to the correct position.
Fuel line: 30NM
