6.1 Typography Typography is a fundamental tool in making a brand name coherent and distinctive. It can either create credibility or tear an identity apart.
The typeface Helvetica is chosen for its modern tone, clarity and legibility. It should be used primarily throughout all applications of the corporate identity programme.
When relevant, the typeface variations within the Helvetica may be used, as indicated on this page. Helvetica is generally recommended for headers as well as body text, while Garamond can be used on body text.

Usage of other fonts To allow flexibility, different fonts may be used when necessary.
It can be used when
a new masthead is needed for certain collaterals
a more vibrant and dynamic look is required for the collateral.
However, when possible, the fonts should be limited to not more than 4.
All type should be specified in upper and lower case, unless specific words must appear in all upper case for legal purposes.
All type should be in a flush left, ragged right appearance.
Titles, headlines, sub-heads, text and captions should be set with between one and ten points of leading.

46 Photographic Images
7.1 Photography A photographic image can make or break a layout. It dictates the art direction of the print collateral. A good design does not depend solely on good layout and typography it wont work without the right photography. A picture paints a thousand words. WIth the right images
chosen, not much need to be said. They create visual impact.
We define a good photo as one with a clear focal subject. The surroundings should not be clattered and screaming for attention.
We strongly discourage the use of photo montages. Photos with no particular subject in focus are in fact confusing.
