Nowadays, everyone has a smartphone, tablets or any other kinds of mobile devices.

Oxford Dictionaries define gadget as a small mechanical device or tool, especially an ingenious
or novel one. We cant deny that gadgets as Iphone, Ipad, Tablet and any other kinds of mobile
devices is the best ways to convey informations and knowledge. Which means you can grab any
news youre interested in anytime and anywhere. Communication devices were supposed to help
people stay connected. These gadgets has matter-of-factly helped in improving the
communication among friends and family. It has made it easier to communicate faster for people
who live farther from each other. However, there seems to be a disconnect. Has technology
failed us?
Advancement in digital technology completely revolutionized the way of communication
among the society. People always enjoyed having conversations and hosting group talks at their
home. Young children were able to apply their communication skill to the real world through
sharing their thoughts with their family members, friends, schoolmates and teachers. However,
conversion of real into text messages spoiled an individual's communication skills overall.
Instead of communicating face-to-face with the loved ones, you feel more convenient to
just send messages or greetings to their social media profile page. It is quite unrealistic to
communicate with people for a long time without actually talking to them or visiting them face
to face. This type of convenience completely changes the mind and you start bypassing actual
communication through phone or meeting. , conversation with a partner is slowly dying out,
silently killing relationships. And while we cannot deny that technology has helped bring us
closer in the virtual world, we need to examine whether we have paid a heavy price for that by
letting our relationships in the real world drift apart.
Mature people also start losing communication skills due to excessive use of technology
and social media that adversely affect their lives. If you look around in public places, most
people will be glued to some sort of a screen: watching, typing, or talking on the phone. Even
couples on dates allow for such behavior. New gadgets are addictive because they are a gateway
to Internet, social networks and games that quickly satisfy human needs. Gadgets provide easy
access to satisfying your needs. They help you feel connected to the world at large, they feed you
information assuring perceived growth, they provide variety, allow you to contribute and to
receive acknowledgements from others. And the best part you participate on your terms:
whenever you like, wherever you like, as much as you want. Children are unable to learn how to
properly and efficiently communicate their feelings and thoughts and with real world. It is
mainly due not having the chance to fully develop their communication skills in an open
environment.
So, yes, technology has enabled us to enhance many aspects of society, but relationships
are not one of them. While at first look it seems as though technology has provided an outlet for
broader communication, all it has done is enabled us to ignore each other in favor of our
simulated counterparts. Technology is an amazing thing, giving healthcare immeasurable strides,
providing an educational outlet for those who would not normally be able to afford school, and
bringing together people from all different cultures and backgrounds, but it comes with a price.
Over-use of anything, even a great thing, can lead to devastating consequences.

The world we live in today is a large and diverse melting pot of people in which many
different kinds meet and interact on a daily basis, both online and in person. Some may find
language barriers or cultural differences make things difficult to understand. Others may just feel
uncomfortable around people with different colored skin. However, it is important to get along
with people of all kinds, both in the workplace and in day to day life. So, the question is how
people of diverse backgrounds can get along better.
To begin with, asking questions about people and their situations is very important since
it makes us understand them better. Once you know more about other peoples cultural,
religious, and economic backgrounds, you will easily learn to appreciate them as they are. This is
a very good way of maintaining unity in diversity.
Secondly, you should always refrain from prejudging people according to their situations.
Do not be quick to say many negative things about people whose cultural and religious
backgrounds you do not understand well. You should try as much as possible to resist the
impulse to make negative comments that could harm cordial relations with these people. You
should appreciate individuals based on their character and not based on cultural, religious and
regional stereotyping. Every person has the right to do things his own way and this freedom must
not be interfered with for people to coexist.
Thirdly, listening to the opinions of other people is better than shouting them down. It is
even worse to pretend that they are not there when they are trying to make their presence felt.
Although you may not like their opinions, listening to them will not cost you much and
furthermore, you will have made them feel that they are a part of the local community. Everyone
likes to have a sense of belonging. It is human nature and it takes tolerance for us to listen to
everyones views.
In diverse communities, it is common for people to be labeled according to their outward
appearance. Whereas it is true that people of a particular geographical or cultural background
may share similar features in terms of physique, you must not use this similarity to label them.
When labeling people in a diverse community, you should consider only the content of their
character and intellect and not their racial, tribal, religious, social class or ideological
background.
Diversity is the many differences that different backgrounds hold. Within those
backgrounds are differences that make and improve people. We should celebrate the differences
and learn to work together.

Leader refers to person who has a goal in life. And always being a good example to
others. A leader also can be said as a role model to others, an individual who are always focused
towards his dreams. Leader is an strongly motivated individual. As the say goes a leader is not
born with the willpower and full strength there is a leader inside everyone. A leader should
abilities not to give up easily and also hardworking to achieve his target.
In my opinion, the most important quality which a leader should possess is intelligence
and alertness. A leader has to use his/her brain every time and also has to remain alert with
eyes and ears open otherwise he/she could easily be carried by any fraud or enemy. Many a times
we see such situations around us, where a person in trouble or problem doesnt hesitate in
blaming and embarrassing even his closest friend to save himself, and also does not bother about
his friends at all because the person has to get rid of his problems anyhow. So, he just thinks
about himself and his life, the life of other does not matter to him much. Almost all of us are
having one or more such close friends, so a leader should always keep in mind that he should not
trust even his closest friends more than required as it can create problems for him.
At the time of war, an Army Officer who leads his soldiers as to apply his brain every
second and has to be attentive while marching ahead. A Police Officer has to be attentive always
while he is at work as his duty is to control crime and provide safety to the people. The political
leader of a county should be most intelligent as the security of not only few people but of the
whole nation depends in him in one way or the other. Therefore, we can say intelligence and
alertness are the indispensable qualities of a leader. As for example, one of the greatest leader of
his time, Winston Churchill could win the Second World War just by applying his brain and his
alertness.
Besides, a good leader should have a positive attitude. This is important because being a
positive person will gives a lot of inner strenght and build confident in a person life. Positive
mindset and attitude always help to understand and gives a good solution to the problem. A
leader has to be a good problem solver as well. To solve the problem the leader has to be calm
and does not blame others for his mistake. A leader should find the solution to every problem he
come across in life. A leader should also be an optimist having a positive attitude. He should not
think negatively or plan something showing negative attitude. A person who thinks or plans
something's showing his negative attitude never be a Leader. A leader should always be
courageous. He should have courage to face the troubles or problems and solving the problems
by himself in place of blaming and embarrassing others.
Finally, a good leader must be faithful to his group members and activities. This in turn,
will result in an atmosphere of assurance among the followers. Having faith in self abilities and
the world around him/her the leader gains inspiration and also inspires others in the process.

I believe it might be difficult to make a significant change in one's life. However,
eventually, I am confident that, if done properly, it pay off and reap it's own reward. I consider
that there are three major qualities needed to make such a change, these being confidence, effort
and patience. I will explain my ideals on each of these individually
Confidence, it is often said, is when you have a strong and firm belief that success will be
achieved without any shadow of doubt. Firstly, you must consider the pros and cons of whatever
you are undertaking, then begin to focus on the positives and avoid the negatives. Discard
anything, feelings of failure or misgivings about your ability to succeed and be confident of the
fact that you can accomplish whatever you want to if you do it with confidence.
Secondly we have the effort, which is the work that you invest to acquire success. With
the correct effort, applied constructively and properly, you attain a 'difference', in other words a
beneficial change of circumstances. This means never accepting anything that you know is going
to create resistance to your goal, but, instead fighting it and eventually prevailing. It is important
to retain the will to win since abandoning it will bring almost certain failure
Finally we have the virtue of patience. This is where time is of the essence and is a
quality that, if used wisely and productively, will ensure a positive result withing the time
constraints that may prevail. There is an old saying that 'Rome wasn't built in a day.', which is,
obviously, very true in practice but also demonstrates that rushing to complete a project does not
mean that it will be a success. As is also said 'Slow and Steady wins the race'. Take your time
and the reward will surely follow. My best advice on making a change would be to prepare for
the worst and wait for the best. This is patience. Use your time wisely. Don't waste it on doubt.
Anything is possible as long as you believe. Never give up on yourself.
In summary, then, there are three qualities that I have highlighted, each of which has it's
own importance but which, when used together, can form an insurmountable barrier to failure.
These qualities can be described in an old German word, 'Gestalt'. This is where the sum of the
components is more than their constituent amounts so, by using all three together we have a
much stronger quality of combination that is sure to win where each of the three, individually,.
without the support of the others, may result in failure. Confidence, effort and patience, my three
ingredients for my recipe of success.

January 2014, The Education Ministry introduced digital textbook that can be
accessed online as an alternative to the printed version in a bid to take the national education
system to greater heights. Second Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh said the use of the
digital textbook, with flippable pages of text and graphic, would be implemented at all schools in
stages beginning this year. For the record, the digitalisation of school textbook is being done in
three phases as stipulated in the Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025. For the second phase
(2016-2020), the ministry is planning to produce interactive textbook for selected subjects, which
will contain elements of text, graphic, audio-visual and animation, to help students understand
the subject better. The third phase (2021-2025), on the other hand, will see the publication of
digital textbook for all subjects, including for students with special needs.
However, I do think there are a few barriers in implementing electronic medium in our
classroom. The urgency to adopt the tablet into the classroom for todays young ones may be
more evident in other countries such as Thailand, Turkey, Australia and the U.S. but in Malaysia,
as adopting tablets and e-books face a few challenges that are harder to overcome than other
forms of technical barriers. Computer tech is too fast for us to catch up. We havent gotten used
to the old version, and we have a new version out. Those who have been teaching all this while,
suddenly they need to swap to ICT. They cannot cope.
Secondly, is a matter of the digital divide. Not everyone has access to computers or
tablets. Income inequality between urban and rural communities results in less technology going
around places that are not massive cities. For instance, statistics for 2012 show that the average
income for urban areas is RM5,742 while rural areas average about RM3,080. That looks like a
great number, but averages are a bad indication of how things are. Another barrier is our
electrical supply problem. Maybe there are students that bringing uncharged tablets to school and
how much the school will have to pay for to power these devices on a daily basis.
But e-book also ensures quality in education since technology is able to provide
interactivity and active learning. Teaching process are constantly modified based on learners
feedback and hence enhance their understanding. The integration ofmany different rich resources
like the virtual library videos, diagrams and audio clips in the e-learning environment could be
easily utilized.Hence, e-learning can be a way to produce a quality and innovative generation.
In order to be ready for the changes of students textbooks to electronic medium, there
are a few factors that need to be considered. Since the migration involves several parties:
teachers, school administrators, and technology specialists, there should be a collaborative effort
in designing a course syllabus which matches with the functions of the e-book reader.
Furthermore schools must be equipped with the software and hardware the e-book reader
requires. Teachers, as the only mediator between the e-book and students in a classroom, need to
be soundly knowledgeable and skilled with this technology and last but not least, E-Books need
readily available regular maintenance
