Einbauanleitung
Der Einbau der Automatik-Antenne
AUTA 6000 KE-F 10 mit dem Einbausatz
AUTA 74 F W 201/2 erfolgt bei den angegebenen
Mercedes-Benz-Modellen der Baureihe W 201
(bis 04.05.87) in den linken hinteren Kotflgel.

Zur Sicherheit Batterie abklemmen.

Im Kofferraum die linksseitige Auskleidung

entfernen. Fr Kabelverlegung hintere Sitzbank und -kissen ausbauen, Fumatten und
linke Seitenverkleidung vorne entfernen.

An der Einbaustelle nach Fig. 1 bzw. 2 die
beiliegende Bohrschablone anlegen, das
Karosserieloch anzeichnen und mahaltig
einarbeiten.
Zum Schutz des Lackes vorher mit Klebeband abkleben. Die Bohrung entgraten. Zum
Schutz gegen Korrosion die blanke Kante mit
Grundlack bestreichen und antrocknen lassen.

In der Zwischenzeit das Antennenkabel und
die Motorleitungen zusammen mit dem
bereits verlegten Leitungssatz durch die Mehrfachtlle unter der Rcksitzbank im Kabelkanal
unterhalb der linken Einstiegleiste zum Fahrersitz verlegen. Das Antennenkabel und die
weie Ader entlang der Quertraverse zum Mitteltunnel verlegen. Verkleidung am Tunnel
etwas abheben. Die Kabel hinter den Einbauraum fr das Autoradio verlegen und einstecken.
Der Stecker kann je nach Bedarf gerade oder
als Winkelstecker verwendet werden. Das
Abbiegen ber den Fhrungsrcken bitte nur
von Hand durchfhren.

Motorleitung wie folgt anschlieen:

Schwarze Ader (sw) mit Kabelschuh im
Kofferraum an der unterhalb der Halterbefestigung am Blechfalz vorhandenen MasseKontaktschraube anschlieen (Fig. 6 und 7).
Weie Ader (ws) mit Flachsteckhlse an der
fr die Steuerung von Automatik-Antennen
vorgesehenen Klemme am Empfnger anschlieen.
Rote Ader (rt) mit Kabelschuh an der hinter
der linken Seitenverkleidung vorhandenen
mehrpoligen Anschluss-Trenndose anschlieen.
Der Anschluss an Kl. 30 erfolgt an einer der
rot unterlegten Klemmen (Fig. 6 und 8).

Die Dichttlle von oben in das Karosserieloch
einsetzen. Dies mu am unteren Ende der
Dichttlle erfolgen. Der obere Einstich mu
gut sichtbar ber der Karosserie liegen
(Fig. 5 und 9).

Befestigungsteile am Gehuse in abgebildeter
Position einsetzen (Fig. 3). Halter am Befestigungsteil mit M5-Sechskantschraube, Scheibe
und Mutter befestigen (Fig. 4).

Antennenkabel am Antennenstutzen fest
anschrauben und Motorleitung einstecken.

Die Antenne vom Kofferraum aus in die
bereits eingesetzte Dichttlle eindrcken;
dazu empfiehlt es sich, den Kugelstutzen
vorher mit etwas Fett zu bestreichen, z.B. mit
AUTA 115 (Fig. 5 und 7).

Halter an dem vorhandenen Langloch am
Karosseriesteg anschrauben (Fig. 7).

Die Kappe von oben auf die Dichttlle aufsetzen, leicht nachdrcken bis sie einrastet
und an der Karosserieoberflche gleichmig
anliegt (Fig. 9 und 10).

Nach Beendigung der Installation Batterie
wieder anklemmen und Antenne durch einschalten des Radios ausfahren.

Das Autoradio nach Anweisung des Herstellers anschlieen.

Die Neigung des Teleskops kontrollieren. Die

Stellung der Antenne eventuell leicht korrigieren
(evtl. Dichttlle mit Kappe etwas drehen) und
danach die Schrauben am Halter fest anziehen.

Das Masseband an vorhandenem Loch an
der Verstrebung festschrauben. Anlageflche
vorher blank schaben und mit Kontaktschutzfett AUTA 115 einstreichen (Fig. 7).

Zum Einbau entfernte Verkleidungen, Fumatten und den Rcksitz wieder einbauen.

Pflegehinweise
Reinigen Sie bitte das Teleskop mglichst oft
von anhaftendem Staub und Schmutz.
Verwenden Sie nur ganz wenig von unserem
Spezialfett in Tuben AUTA 235 oder benutzen
Sie unser Autoantennen-Pflegetchlein AUTA 135,
das gleichzeitig reinigt und fettet.
Bitte die beiliegende Gebrauchs- und Pflegeanleitung mit Garantiekarte und den beiden
Autoantennen-Pflegetchlein (AUTA 135)
dem Kunden aushndigen.
Ersatz-Teleskop: Bestell-Nr. 820 902-105
Ersatzteile bitte unter den angegebenen
Nummern bestellen.

Installation instructions
Installation of the automatic antenna
AUTA 6000 KE-F 10 with the installation set
AUTA 74 F W 201/2 is appointed left-side in
the rear wings of the stated car types series 201
(since 04.05.87).

Disconnect battery for security.

Remove left-side lining in the luggage-boot.

For cable laying detach the back seat, remove
the floor mats and the left trim in the front of
the car cabin.

Apply the attached drilling template at the
installation place acc. to fig. 1 resp. 2, mark
the hole and drill properly.
Before drilling cover the paintwork with adhesive tape for protecting. Remove the burr,
spread the bare edge with primer to protect
against corrosion and allow to dry.

In the meantime, pass the antenna cable and
the motor cables together with the cable set
being already installed through the multiple
grommet under the back seat and then inside
the cable duct below the left threshold to the
driver's seat. Lay the antenna cable and the
white lead along the cross traverse to the
centre tunnel. Lift the lining of the tunnel, pass
the cables behind the receiver and plug-in.

The plug can be used straight or, if required,

as an angled plug.
Please bend this plug only by hand.

Connecting the motor cable:

Connect the back lead (sw) with cable plug
in the luggage-boot to the provided earthing
screw above the bracket fixing (fig. 6 and 7).
Connect the white lead (ws) with flat receptacle to the terminal at the receiver provided
for automatic antenna control.
Pass the red lead (rt) with the cable plug to
the multiple socket behind the left-side-lining.
Connect to clamp 30 at one of the redcoloured clamps (fig. 6 and 8).

Insert the sealing sleeve into the car body
hole. Make sure that the lower recess of the
sleeve fits to the body. The upper recess
must be clearly visible above the car body
(fig. 5 and 9).

Fasten the fitting part to the housing as
shown in fig. 3. Fix the bracket to the fitting
part with screw M5, washer and nut (fig. 4).

Tighten the antenna cable to the antenna
case and plug-in the motor cable.

Insert the antenna from the luggage-boot
through the sleeve inserted before; it is
recommended to spread the spherical antenna
head previously with some grease, e.g. with
AUTA 115 (fig. 5 and 7).

Fasten the bracket at the existing oblong hole
to the car body bar (fig. 7).

Apply the cap on top of the sleeve and press
slightly until snapping-on and fitting tightly to
the car body surface (fig. 9 and 10).

After completion of installation reconnect
battery and extend the antenna by switching
on the radio.

Connect the car radio according to the
instructions of the manufacturer.

Check the angle of the telescope, adjust if
necessary by rotation the sleeve and cap and
then tighten the screws at the bracket.

Fix the earthing tape to the existing hole at
the brace. Previously bare the connecting
surface and spread with contact protective
grease AUTA 115 (fig. 7).

Replace linings, floor mats and the back seat.

Maintenance
Please clean the telescope as often as possible
of adhering dust and dirt.
Use only a little of our special grease AUTA 235
supplied in tubes or our car antenna tissue
AUTA 135 for both cleaning and greasing.
Please hand over the enclosed instructions
for use and maintenance with guarantee
certificate as well as the two car antenna
tissues (AUTA 135).

Instruction de montage
L'installation de l'antenne automatique
AUTA 6000 KE-F 10 avec le set de montage
AUTA 74 F W 201/2 se fait sur les modles
Mercedes Benz ci-indiqus de la srie W 201 (
partir du 4.5.87) sur l'aile arrire gauche.

Pour des raisons de scurit, dbrancher la

batterie.

Enlever le revtement du ct gauche du

coffre. Pour la pose du cble, dmonter la
banquette et le coussin arrires, ainsi que les
moquettes et le revtement latral gauche
l'avant.

Appliquer le gabarit de perage ci-inclus
l'endroit de montage selon fig. 1 resp. 2,
marquer le trou de perage sur la carrosserie
et percer prcisement.
Auparavant coller un ruban adhsif pour
protger la laque. Supprimer les bavures du
perage, enduire le bord nu de laque de base
pour protger contre la corrosion et laisser
scher.

Poser le cble d'antenne et les conduites du
moteur avec le jeu de cbles dj pos par le
passe-cble multiple sous la banquette arrire
dans le caniveau de cbles sous le rebord
d'accs gauche jusqu'au sige du conducteur. Poser le cble d'antenne et la conduite
blanche le long de l'entretoise transversale
jusqu'au caniveau moyen.
Soulever lgrement le revtement du caniveau, poser le cble d'antenne derrire l'autoradio et brancher.
Suivant les besoins, la fiche peut tre utilise
comme fiche droite ou comme fiche coude.
Ne la tordre que manuellement par dessus le
tube conducteur.

Brancher les conduites du motor comme suit:

Brancher le fil noir (sw) avec cosse de cble
la vis de contact de masse, qui se trouve
dans le coffre l'agrafage de tle au-dessous
de la fixation du support (fig. 6 et 7).
Brancher le fil blanc (ws) avec douille plate
la borne prvue pour la commande de l'antenne automatique au rcepteur.
Brancher le fil rouge (rt) avec cosse de cble
la bote de branchement multiple, qui se
trouve derrire le revtement du ct gauche.
Le branchement la borne 30 s'effectue
une des bornes rouges (fig. 6 et 8).

Placer le manchon d'tanchit d'en haut
dans le perage de la carrosserie, c'est--dire
l'entaille infrieure du manchon. L'entaille
suprieure doit tre bien visible au-dessus de
la carosserie (fig. 5 et 9).

Placer la fixation au botier selon fig. 3.
Visser le support la fixation avec le boulon
hexagonal M5, la rondelle et l'crou (fig. 4).

Visser fond le cble d'antenne la rallonge

d'antenne et enficher la conduite du moteur.

Du ct du coffre, presser l'antenne dans le
manchon d'tanchit dj mis. Pour cela, il
faut enduire la rallonge bille auparavant
d'un peu de graisse, par ex. avec AUTA 115
(fig. 5 et 7).

Visser le support au trou oblong existant
l'entretoise de la carrosserie (fig. 7).

Placer le capuchon d'en haut sur le manchon
tanche, presser lgrement, jusqu' ce qu'il
encliquette et se trouve bien la surface de
la carrosserie.

Aprs avoir fini l'installation, rebrancher la
batterie et sortir l'antenne en mettant en
marche la radio.

Raccorder l'autoradio selon les spcifications
du constructeur.

Contrler l'inclinaison du tlescope; si besoin
est, corriger la position de l'antenne (ventuellement tourner un peu le manchon tanche
avec le capuchon) et ensuite serrer fond les
vis au support.

Visser fond la bande de mise la masse au
trou existant l'entretoise, auparavant commencer par gratter nu la surface de base et
l'enduire de graisse de contact AUTA 115 (fig.
7).

Remonter les revtements, les moquettes et
la banquette arrire, qui ont t enlevs pour
l'installation de l'antenne.
Conseils d'entretien
Veuillez nettoyer le tlescope le plus souvent
possible de la poussire adhrente et de la
salet. N'utilisez que trs peu de notre graisse
spciale en tube AUTA 235 ou bien notre essuieantenne AUTA 135 qui nettoie et graisse en
mme temps.
Veuillez transmettre au client le mode
d'emploi et d'entretien ci-jointe avec le
bulletin de garantie et les deux essuiesantenne (AUTA 135).
