Should the oll need further treatnent, the Searatlon nodule ls
used. Searatlon of the sludge takes lace slnultaneously wlth
desludglng and ls searated lnto clean oll, sollds and water.
8LA80 recovers close to oo er cent of the hydrocarhons.
Jhere are two searatlon stes. Flrst a llquld/sollds searatlon
takes lace ln the decanter, where sollds are renoved fron the
oll. Jhe sollds are deoslted ln contalners for dlsosal or treat-
nent, lf requlred. lf the recovered oll stlll contalns water, a further
