Dear Dr. Naqvi,
I am writing to you because I was informed by a University to whom we were trying to sell our University
Management System that HEC is already offering a University Management System to various Universities in
Pakistan. Specifically, the HEC had chosen PeopleSoft as the platform offering.
While I acknowledge the intent and effort, I believe that this opportunity should be made available to Local
Pakistan IT companies as well since we can only grow and create meaningful jobs if we have customers.
Our Company, Digital EduLink, has a complete and proven Education ERP Platform developed and installed
locally with the assistance of existing Universities. Our software development core team was based in Pakistan
but under the direction of our USA based partners. The System, which took five years and over $1 million in
development cost, is fully functional, highly scalable and highly efficient mainly because it was developed
using proactive feedback from users across various types of Universities in Pakistan and Internationally.
Furthermore, the system is very cost-effective as it was development in Pakistan and the source code also is
owned by Pakistanis.

As you can see from the above and based on our comparison study, our system is far superior in terms of
features, functions and completeness. There is virtually no aspect of University / Higher learning Institution
management that we have left out. Moreover, you can automate 10 Universities with the same amount of
money that you will spend automating one single University with the PeopleSoft System.
There was a lot of passion that went into developing this system because the founders of the company, who
had spent decades overseas running IT and software companies, felt a need to do something meaningful and
lasting to help Pakistan in the education sector. In summary, this is not just any system but a system behind
which a lot of thought, subject matter expertise and domain knowledge has gone into. I am requesting that
your organization take a look at our system and include our products in your consideration for automating the
Universities that you have funds for helping out.
