Parking brake control is fully released. Relieve the tension on the parking brake system. Disconnect the parking brake intermediate cable from the locating hole end of the connector. Remove the parking brake rear cable and conduit from the brake line clip on top of the rear axle housing.

Parking Brake Cable Rear Removal 1. NOTE: Make sure the parking brake control is fully released.
