Married Life and Single Life Marriage is an important event in human life. In every country, every
continent and every religion, the ceremony of marriage is celebrated in some way shape or form.
Marriage has many advantages and disadvantages over single life. Whether you are single or married,
marriage is supported by almost everyone everywhere, but there are still people that choose to live the
single life. The single life has its own advantages and disadvantages over married life. The major
differences between married life and single life are that married people have more dependency on and
responsibilities for their partner, where single people tend to be more independent, have much fewer
responsibilities. Married people are more dependent where single people are independent. Married
people have their spouse and children to care for, and this requires a serious commitment. There are
rules and limitations on what married people are able to do. For example, they can't have personal
relationships with several people. They are bound by the vows in marriage, and are rest......

The basic building block of all societies has always been the family. Within the family, marriage is the
one ingredient that seems to affect the family's wellbeing the most. While marriage is now being
redefined in certain societies, by enlarge it remains constant as an institution shared by all cultures
throughout the world. The marriage rituals, gender roles, expectations, and the role it plays within a
society may differ between societies, nevertheless, in one form or another, it exist in almost all societies.
In this paper, we will compare and contrast the marriage institution in the American culture versus the
Arabic Middle Eastern culture. Choosing the Marriage Partner In general, the basic taboos, like incest,
are very much the same between the two cultures. However, unlike the American culture were most of
the taboos are based on socially accepted norms; religion plays a significant role in establishing the
