Training
We are located adjacent to the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) main campus,
Islamabad. The easiest way to get here is by car, taking Kashmir
Highway/Murree Road to 3rd Avenue and turning left under Bab-ul-Quaid once
you have entered the QAU main campus. In addition, PIDE's buses pick and drop
students from various locations in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

What is Special about the Programme
The PIDE School of Public Policy aims to bridge the researchpolicy gap in Pakistan
through high quality academic programmes, policy oriented research and executive
training. The School offers MPhil/MS in Public Policy; hosts a specialized research
center conducting research on public policy issues and, offers executive training for
policy-makers, practitioners and professionals involved in the development and
implementation of policies.
The Advisory Council comprising eminent scholars, researchers, academicians, and
public policy analysts has been set up to guide the activities of the School. The Council
comprises:

world. Moreover visiting faculty from various renowned institutions within Pakistan
and abroad will deliver lectures and conduct courses during the academic year. The

Course work, including domestic case studies, equip the students with an
interdisciplinary conceptual toolkit and the thesis/project allows application

base in economic and social reasoning.
MPhil/MS in Public Policy at PSPP
The MPhil/MS in Public Policy is a rigorous two year degree programme. Individuals
with 16 years of formal education in any discipline are eligible to join the programme.

Development of skills required for policy analysis and knowledge of the limitations
involved in developing and implementing an ideal policy.
Subject-based Practical Skills:
The ability to conduct independent analysis of public policy issues.

Undertake and implement decisions, based on theory and practice of public policy,
