Introduction
Al Taif Technical Services was launched by Mubadala in 2006, and operates in close
collaboration with the General Head Quarters (GHQ) of the UAE Armed Forces offering
integrated life cycle support of defense systems through MRO of equipment and
components, supported by an integrated supply chain, a cutting edge RD&E, and
Technical Training.
With global expertise and partnerships, world-class facilities, local knowledge and the
commitment to building a sustainable and commercially viable support system for the

Al Taifs distinguishing characteristic is our capability to overhaul systems and

components in addition to the full range of our MRO services. Strategically located in
modern, world-class facilities at Zayed Military City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates;
our main facilities and operations include, but are not limited to:

Type A Vehicle Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective

maintenance on all combat vehicle systems.
Type B Vehicle Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective
maintenance on all light and heavy wheeled vehicle systems.
Type C Vehicle Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective
maintenance on all material-handling equipment, construction equipment and
tractor trailer units.
Overhaul Workshop, which performs major component overhaul and rebuild in
support of all vehicle workshops, plus electroplating of various metals and
materials.
Allied Trades Workshop, which performs ancillary maintenance tasks for all other
workshops
Weapons Workshop, which performs rebuild, preventive and corrective
maintenance repairs on both turrets and small arms weapons.
Electronics Workshop, which performs electronic component fault isolation and
repair to support the Type A Workshop and the Weapons Workshop, on
navigation, electronics, optics and night vision, fire control systems,
instrumentation and vehicle management systems and communication
equipment.
Supply/Stores Management, which performs the receipt, storage, issuing and
delivery of parts based on maintenance forecasts and plans.
