How to Operate AAS with SignPal & PhotoPRINT

<Setup on SignPal Pro 7.6 v2>


1. Import the graphic source file. Select the graphics then browse
Effects / Contour Cut to generate contour line.

2. Browse Contour Cut Mark to generate AAS marks.

3. Select graphics and AAS marks then export as EPS and use
PhotoPRINT or other software to print.

4. Setup the machine (remove then reinstall CCD cover for pen
installation) and the printed media to be ready (AAS marks must
be set in between the outside pinch rollers).

5. Click Cut Contour to select Jaguar III model and add port.

6. Change job status to Hold in List for later AAS input then click
Send. Back to Production Manager to select the job. Click Send for
AAS process.

7. Through Print port, click No to input AAS dimension data first


then turn to set up AAS on plotter. Through COM or USB port, do
not respond either button. Instead, turn to set up AAS on plotter.

8. Go Offline then press Cut Test to enter AAS function menu.

9. Select AAS-3-Points \ Set Origin to locate the carriage on (top of


the center of the lower right) AAS mark on the printed media.

Warning: Removal of CCD cover during AAS setting will cause


capture error.

10. Sometimes, if the media is set slightly off, capture error may
appear. Back to previous step for manual setup to capture this
point.

11. Carriage will return to the origin and be ready for AAS contour
cut.

12. Back to Production Manager to select the same job then send.
Click Yes to output. If through COM or USB port, click Yes on
previous message box.

1. Import the graphic source file. Select the graphics then click on
Effects / Contour Cut to generate contour outline.

2. Click on RIP/Print to output. Select Jaguar III model to add port


setup.

3. PhotoPRINT is with both print and cut functions, if users havent


set up printing port, it will show a box to complete this setting.

4. Back to RIP & Print to change job status to Hold in List for later
AAS dimension input and click Send to print out. Click Yes if the
ICC Profiles color correction message box popped up.

5. Back to Production Manager to select the job under the printer


then click Send.

6. Setup the machine and the printed media (AAS marks must be
located within the pinch rollers on edges).

7. Back to Production Manager to select the job then Send. Through
Print port, click No to input AAS dimension data, then set up AAS
function on plotter. Through COM or USB port, do not respond
either button. Instead, set up AAS function on plotter.

8. Set up machine followed as the same procedures (described on
SignPal Export).

9. Back to Production Manager, select same job then send. Through
COM / USB port, back to previous message box then click Yes.
